I currently have a credit card account of $2,000. It's close to being put in for a judgement. How much are they entitled to take from my paycheck? Is there a certain % they'll take. I'm unable to settle the account on my own at this time.

You need to put your best efforts in stopping the creditor from taking legal actions against you. You still have some time left in resolving the matter. Speak to a professional expert for handling your situation. He will negotiate with your creditors and set up a repayment plan. This will stop the creditor from taking legal actions against you.

Under the federal laws, if a judgment is awarded, it should not be more than 25% of your disposable income. But the laws are different in each state. You need to check with your state AG’s office for more information.
