Alexdra is right. We have all been where you are at right now, desparate and depressed. But once we learned our rights, took control back over our accounts, we started feeling a huge relief and were able to start sleeping at night. I can tell you that I LITERALLY fell asleep each night with my calculator and not knowing what I was going to do. You WILL get throught this and if you follow the advice others are giving you and take it to heart, and take action, you will be feeling ALOT better withing a few days!

Lavene, you are going to be fine
1. You have the link to your state laws
2. Go to polly's blog and use her settlement template letter.
3. OPEN A NEW BANK ACCOUNT (very important to gain control over your finances back)
4. File a complaint with your AGs office, these are unlicensed pdls loaning to a consumer in your state.
5. Start these steps, and don't back down with your demands in the letters to mark you paid in full, sometimes it will take e-mailing them mulitple times a day, but if that is what it takes then do it. Most here have had to do that.

Laverne, you should also aware of the payments done on each pdl account. Keep the state laws at one side and check your payments in the bank statements. You have to make sure how much money is paid on them and move from there.

I just stumbled across this site and I am looking for some help. Where do I find the information on PA laws for internet Payday loans. Also, where can i find the blog that has the template letters. I am planning to contact my bank on Monday to submit the revocation forms to stop the 5 loans that I have coming out of my account. Is it better to open a new account?
