If these are internet pdls, they are unlicensed to lend in majority of the states, what state are you in? I highly doubt an unlicensed company conducting business in a state in which they are not licensed will step foot in a court room to sue you, why do you think they are always threatening people with arrest and so on, to scare more money out of them.

Laverne, read through this thread you started, in the beginning the steps are there for you to start dealing with these internet pdls. Take it one step at a time and you will knock these guys out. They are not going to have you arrested or take you to court if they are internet pdls, they are unlicensed.

The pdls won't do anything to you. Most of us here, myself included have had to close out our accounts to get control back from the pdls to pay our bills. They will of course threaten you with arrest, charges of fraud, but IGNORE them these are illegal threats and you will NOT be arrested or charged with anytype of crime.

If you have already paid back the principal and legal interest rate your state allows in the roll-overs and they are still rolling over your loans. You can use the pdl settlement letter on Polly's blog to demand they mark your account paid in full. People do have success with this, myself included. I have had all of my pdls marked paid in full because I paid back the principal and legal interest rate in my state in all of the illegal roll over fees. I also filed a complaint with my AG's office which was a huge help. I will post the link to Polly's template letter, you will need to insert your state's pdl laws and let them know you filed a formal complaint in the letter. I will post the link to the letter.

Here is the link to Polly's letter:
http://pollyandsay.yesdebtfree.org/template-letter/

Earlier in this thread I posted the link to your state's pdl laws, which is what you will need to insert into the letter. Now you will get responses from these companies that you signed a contract stating you would abide by their laws. That's BS, and just be persistent and do NOT back down and repeatedly e-mail your settlement letters to them.

I don't really care too much about Teletrak, you will just be in there and no other payday company will loan you money. Now Chexsystems is the one you don't want to be in, but these guys report to Teletrak. I don't know of these guys reporting to credit reports, you could dispute that anyways because they are unlicensed in your state, I've not heard of anyone here having it reported to their credit report.

Where do I find the laws for my state. Can I close my account and open a new one at the same bank. If so, what reason do you give the bank for wanting to close and reopen it? Should I make arrangements and where do I find the debt consolidator?
