I am a former employee of Fairhaven law Group.. I personally think its a bunch of BS!! I feel that it is a scam and your better off handling things on your own (due to their HIGH prices) 100% of clients that got sued LOST! some settlements were great and the clients loved us for it but if you get sued.. plain and simple you WILL loose!!
call another company for debt help.. Dont use Fairhaven Law Group, YDebts or ChoiceOne (Its all the same crooked ass company!!)

Does anyone on this board (perhaps former employee) know of the Victor W Luke's CA SBN number (State Bar Number)? I want to make sure I am reading reviews for the same attorney I am considering retaining for services. Thanks !

I have been in the program with Victor W. Luke law firm for 10 months and i have settled 8 of my 11 accounts, this people are the best yes they do charge for their services but it's all worth it. i research for about 3 months before making a decision on who I was going to hire i interviewed about ten different companies and they were all ready to sign me up but every one told me the same if you get sued we can't help you and for me this was my biggest concern. Victor W. Luke will be with you all the way even if you get sued, this people are really on top of things and they do look out for you; but like other people have said yes you do have to do exactly what they tell you and you do need to be able to save money if not it just does not work. Yes you can can also do it on your own if you know what you are doing and if you are extremely organized because there is a lot of paper work involved. I signed up for three years but at the rate I'm going I should be done in about 4 months the reason being that I have saved every penny I can get my hands on and also the firm has negotiated incredible settlements all of them under 40% so this have helped tremendously. GOOD LUCK

Been w/ Fairhaven Law Group and so far so good. IF you follow the system, as directed by them, then the calls should stop. No lawsuit, but a negotiation to pay off debt. I contacted other debt related companies to compare the practice and they all responded that they would operate similar to FLG....but FLG had lower fees. WOO HOO!!!

I would never pay upfront fees to a debt settlement company or have them put money in an "escrow" account. The smart way to settle with your creditors is to use a company that prioritized the creditors based on there willingness to settle and or litigate. I got out of debt in 6 months and settled all of my debt at around 28 cents on the dollar and I paid the settlement company a small fee based on a contingent rate of settlement. No settlement no fee which gave them an incentive to settle my debt. They can be reached at 866-833-6398. I saved 42K and now I am debt free.

I worked there for a couple of years, let me tell you I know everything there is to know about that company and the Owner/Silent Owner of Law Offices of Victor W Luke and Fairhaven Law Group & Ydebts etcc.......... As you can see they have changed names a couple of times and so on.

As much as I would like to think there are honest companies out there this is not one of them. I can tell you with certainty that it is a scam and only a very small percentage of debt truly gets repaired. If they were so honest and good why are there more complaints than congrats. I will tell you this, everything they do you can actually do. Yes it is time consuming that is why they give you a two year time frame. But you can do it. I have been in every office they have and I have watched and listened to what they do.

Go online and do some reasearch you will see it is not that difficult to do. I have done it for a few of my friends and family. I hope the people that have been scammed out of there hard earned money and ended up in BK at the end of the road, I wish you the very best. Don't ever go with one of those type of companies.

I've had experience with Fairhaven Lending Group. They have scammed one of my family members out of more than two thousand dollars. They want money upfront before even approving any loans. They are WAY too good to be true. Everything looks reputable, but in reality, they are slimy. I would encourage everyone to stay far away from Fairhaven Lending Group!

I just recently had dealing with this company. They are a bunch of crooks. I sent them $1490 as directed and was advised that the money would be deposited 2 hours after deposit was received. Low and behold I still don't have the money. Spoke with the supervisor today who said he had called and told me that an additional $1490 would be necessary in order to be extended the loan because of credit score. I explained that the money that I had sent initially was borrowed from my mother. He assured me that if I would send at least $800 he could make sure that the money would be forwarded in 2 hours. I said I didn't have it and that I would like a refund of what I had already sent them. He asked me why. Really?!!!! Why?!!! I would not do business with these people. I am further in debt than I was when I started this process. Extremely frustrated. Chalk it up to Life Lesson Learned.
