Allegro Law Firm reviews – has anyone worked with them?

DO NOT USE ALLEGRO LAW. THEY SUCK. ALL THEY DO IS STEAL YOUR MONEY

Been with them for almost 2 years. But recently site went down
and 3 hour wait on hold and investigated that many complaints
to BBB and I think they are belly up with my $7000.00. Don't be
stupid....

Today I spoke with a lady with the Alabama attorney general's office. Looks like the debt negotiation part of it is still going just with different management.

The debt settlement part has been found to be fraudulent and has been closed down. I asked if anyone who was stupid enough to give Allegro Law money for debt settlement (Me included) would receive a refund. I was not encouraged by her answer. This will be determined after assets are liquidated and so forth.

If only I had found this site before I gave them my money.

Well since this firm is big time busted, is there anybody that knows
of any class action suit that we can cooperate with or get in contact with. If they have shut down this company and froze its
assets but they still aquired a payment of $500 from my bank account just 2 days ago, isn't that embezzlement? Dear God help
me please.

Wow...Allegro Law victims are coming out of the woodworks. Let people know your story so others won't follow with another debt settlement company.

I BELIEVE THAT HESS KENNEDY LAW FIRM WAS JUST SUED BY FLORIDA ATTNY GENERAL AND LOST.

I called the Office of the Attorney General in Alabama and was tranfered to Mary Mcklintoc (334)353-1831 (a very nice lady) and she gave me the name and phone number of the Receiver apppointed to handled all the money from Allegro Law's account. His name, phone # and address are below:

When you call his office his secretary will ask you to fax a brief description of your complaint along with a copy of your contract and a bank statement showing all the payments made to Allegro Law. She will also ask you to mail any additional information pertaining to your case. I called today and she told me that Mr. Colley was in court and that he was going to call me this afternoon. So people, call the Receiver's Office today and give his secreatry your name and fax your information as soon as possible. She told me that even if you have filed a complaint with the Attorney General and the BBB you need to get your information to the receiver beacuse all the infarmation you sent will be kept at those offices for their files and future references and will not be sent to the Receiver's Office due to privicy issues. I called Mary M at the Office of the Attorney General and she confirmed that what I was told was true. So again, I can not stress how important it is to call the Receiver's Office and identify yourself as a victim of Allegro Law. Also, if you have not filed a complaint with the Office of the Attorney General in Alabama, call Mary and she will send you a comaplint form along with instructions.

If anyone knows of a class action suit started either in New
York or Alabama against Helms, Allegro Law, or its affiliates
PLEASE POST IT HERE with phone numbers and contact
attorneys so everyone can stand up and be counted for
this thievery.

This company has took us for over $8000.00. We have been
trying to get ahold of them for a week until I have found out
that they have been shut down and all assets frozen along
with Helms and Alabama and New York offices. For what it is
worth, my wife went through our contract with them a fine
toothed comb and found a phone number: 516-624-1693 This is
a New York number and a guy answered and said his name was
Tom...he could be a janitor as far as we know but he was nice
and just transfered us to somewhere that eventually came back
to him so maybe someone else might have more luck than we did. AND THANKS "mgtc36" most helpful post on here for me!!

that is accumulating names that are victims of Helms and
Allegro Law on this debt consolidation scheme. MAKE SURE YOU
FAX JUST YOUR CONTRACT AND BANK FUNDS THAT WERE TAKEN
OUT BY THESE CROOKS AND MAKE SURE THIS OFFICE GET YOU
ON THEIR LIST.

and now I can't reach them by phone or by email (the site is down and the phone is telling for hours "thank you for holding".
Run away from this scam!
