Then you are one of the lucky ones. They were put out of business. If you were ripped off by them, file a claim with the Receivership so you can get your money back.

Chrys, where do you get your information. The receivership is still running the business as usual. Read the information at the receiverships website. Get you facts straight before you post.

Default Dont use Allegro Law

DO NOT USE ALLEGRO LAW!!!!!! They are crooks they have huge fees and did nothing for us, we in fact had to file bankrupcy b/c of them. Never received statements. They took the money out of our account every month but did nothing with it. Creditors were still calling and in fact one file a law suit and the lawyers did nothing. Again DO NOT USE ALLEGRO LAW FIRM FOR ANY REASON

I was a client of allegro law firm in hopes of getting resolution of debt. First of all credit counseling is the better way to go. With debt settlement your credit score will suffer because you are told not to make any payments to those companies. With counseling you work out a payment plan- with debt settlement you pay into escrow and when you have reached a certain amount then they negotiate terms which may or may not saye you money.
allegro law is in receivership- i have been trying to get out of my contract - my credit has been badly damaged and I do not recommend going this route at all.... By the way did you know you can negotiate terms with the credit card companies yourself? Give it a try- i did- i did better than Allegro did. Best of luck

I'm having the same problems with allegro law firm. Hopes of getting out of debt free. But I guess this is not happening. I regret, i should choose debt counseling better than debt settlement program. I'm writing a letter to Mr. Colley the court reciever to get my refund back. I hope this will work.

Allegro Law Claims

STATEMENT OF RECEIVER

Allegro Law, LLC has been placed in Receivership by the Circuit Court of Autauga County, Alabama as a result of an action filed by the Attorney General of the State of Alabama along with the Alabama Securities Commission. Louis C. Colley has been appointed receiver of Allegro's funds and ongoing business under the supervision of the Circuit Court. All records are currently being reviewed in order that each client may be protected to the fullest extent. It is anticipated that a debt management plan will be continued for the benefit of the client according to the agreements already in place. Debt settlement plans are currently being evaluated to see if proposals have been accepted by creditors and to determine if a settlement can be reached on behalf of the client. A claims process will be established for refunds of any funds available and not used on behalf of a client. This website will be continually updated to provide further information and eventually the claims procedure will be posted on this site. I understand your concern and assure you we will work through this process as quickly as possible for the benefit of all clients.
