Really you have exposed nothing but ignorance; I have been working in this Industry for a time and you have no idea of how much it has changed and grown for the better. You are always going to find someone who is dissatisfied because they expect miracles over night. That won’t happen over night, because it did not take you one night to get into this mess. These programs work and we all work very hard to provide the best service and quality to the average consumer. The people that you should be trying to expose would be the credit card companies that are jacking your interest rates up and not giving you the benefit of the doubt. We work so hard to get the best possible benefits extended to you when on a consolidation program as well as working out the best possible settlements. It’s not easy when the Credit Cards companies are working together with the government. EX> who was one of President Bush’s biggest supporters??? MBNA. (Rent it MAXED OUT)

As for Laura Hess and Jeff Campos just because they practiced deceptive practices does not mean that everyone else in this Industry does. You’re making the wrong associations. Do you think people that run these companies want to have the government freeze all assets and shut their companies down, the companies that they work so hard building for years? (These people do have families that do go along for that ride.) Also just because these 2 got greedy and ruined it for everyone does not mean that everyone is like that. So before you think you know the facts, think again because you know nothing but ignorance.

I have attempted to work with Allegro Law Firm for my credit debt problems. I have been with them for almost five months, and NOT ONCE have they contacted any of my creditors to work out any type of negotiation. This has now made me furthur in debt than before. I have spoke to one of my creditor who have explained to me how its all a scam! I have some websites she gave me. I have also just found that working directly through your credit card companies is best. Good luck to all of you and I hope you dont have to go through what I did with them.

Tabatha, you said "NOT ONCE have they contacted any of my creditors to work out any type of negotiation."

Tabatha, YOU'RE NOT A CLIENT! IF YOU WERE, you would have received your Welcome Package from the law firm with the copies of the letters that go out to creditors. There are also instructions IN THE WELCOME PACKAGE to direct ALL creditor and debt collection calls to the law firm.

THE LAW FIRM'S CONTRACT IS FULLY DISCLOSED AND EXPLAINS THE SERVICES IN GREAT DETAIL, RISKS INVOLVED, AND PROCESS.

One more thing, EVERY credit card company and debt collector WILL tell a debtor that they don't work with debt adjusters, attorneys, and even bankruptcy attorneys. That is there way to get you to PAY MUCH MORE than what they will get from the law firm.

I doubt you are a REAL CLIENT because you have no idea how the program works after signing a 20 page contract with a process verification that goes over the whole process for the second time!

If you need information on Allegro Law don't ask them they are to busy for their clients. I been with Allegro Law since April of this year and I been getting summons to go to superior court by the credit card they have on their file. I called them for legal advise and they tell one of their attorney will call me back. I been waiting for an attorney to call me right back for a few days and no luck. I think I made a big mistake with Allegro Law, LLC because I am going to court for 2 of my credit cards that they have on their file. I am so lost I really don't know what to do anymore. I need some advice on what to do next because I got to go to court next month and Allegro Law, LLC is not assisting me at the moment. I understand they might have a lot of clients but I am concerned what is going on with my money they take out every month. If anyone has any advice please email me at ecgtreasures@aol.com

First...they don't have a lot of clients. Don't fall for that line that everyone spits out when they are in trouble. You are a client of theirs and that's all that should matter. But enough about them. I have a few questions though. Do you legitimately own these credit cards? Are they within the Statute of limitations? And how much are they together? Who is collecting, the original creditor or a third party junk debt buyer?

Sarah84 just read this thread from start to end and go with your gut here. Make sure you do your own research about this company. Don't ever take someones word on things like this. Not even mine. I did the research and came to my own conclusion. You should do the same. Always go see for yourself. Good Luck.

IT'S FUNNY TO READ ALL THE NEGATIVE STUFF THAT IS BEING SAID ABOUT ALLEGRO LAW. I HAD ALREADY SIGNED UP WITH ALLEGRO BEFORE I READ ANYTHING THAT PEOPLE HAVE SAID ABOUT THEM HERE. TO BE HONEST I WAS KINDA REGRETING TO HAVE SIGNED UP AFTER READING. I'M NOT TRYING TO STICK UP FOR THEM OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT, BUT LIKE I SAID IN THE BEGINING, EVERYTHING HAS BEEN GOOD SO FAR AND THEY ARE DOING THEIR JOB WITH ME AT LEAST. THEY HAVE KEPT ME INFORMED WITH EVERYTHING THEY ARE DOING AND I'VE DOUBLE CHECKED WITH MY CREDITORS AND EVERYTHING MATCHES. SO I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY EVERYONE IS SO UPSET AT THEM? OR WHY THEY HAVE HAD SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM? BUT JUST LIKE SARAH84, I WAS BEING PRESSURED TO FIND A SOLUTION TO MY debt problems AND FOUND ALLEGRO. AND I THINK I HAVE MADE THE RIGHT CHOICE. BUT THAT'S JUST MY OPINION. BUT OF COURSE, PLEASE DO YOU HOMEWORK AND IF IT WORKS FOR YOU THAT'S GREAT!!! IF NOT, JUST LIKE TOM321 HAS SAID, YOU CAN ALSO DO IT YOURSELF AND TALK TO YOUR CREDITORS ON YOU OWN. I DIDN'T THINK I WAS ABLE TO NEGOGIATE WITH MY CREDITORS UNTIL AFTER I SIGNED UP, BUT THAT'S OKAY. IT WORKS FOR ME!!!
