Just want everyone here to know I got yer back homies! When I find one hair out of place with Allegro (or any other affiliate), the authorities will be the first to know!

the libel examples are very funny cherry, libel claims only hold up if it's not true... (i'm sure allegro will go down like HK eventually)

Nelms went to a "christian" law school...

guess he learned a lot, especially about how to be a good judge of character! LOL!

anyone thinking of doing business with these fools, tom321 is absolutley right, do these posts by the person working for allegro seem very professional?

and also, how many clients of a business (whether reputable or not) come running to the defenese of the company when they are being talked about in an online forum (ANONYMOUSLY!) He he he.

and yes, edward, I'm also anonymous, but I'm not trying to sell anyone anything. if i were, i wouldn't be selling 3rd grade-level written responses in a forum. pathetic. i'd represent myself a little better, but according to you that doesn't matter, you've got 4000 clients a month and negotiate millions of dollars! LOL!

I mean geez, you're so powerful with all your big negotiations and millions of dollars that you resort to replying to online forums, childishly, saying absolutely nothing of substance. I'm in awe of your power! LOL!

And does such a reputable company like Allegro know that someone so childish is online DEFENDING them, and trying to sell their services?

Maybe I'll call Allegro and see what they have to say?

Probably already common knowledge but Chase filed suit against Allegro Oct 3, 2008. Look for yourself:

this just seems fishy...

I searched registered companies in new york, and there's no Allegro Law, LLC. Yet, allegrolaw.net has 223 wall st #201 huntington ny, 11743 listed as their "make payments to" address.

What's with that?

Want to know what else is funny. Allegro Law was incorporated on 4/26/07 in Alabama. LOL it's been a year and 7 months. There is NO WAY that anyone completed this program and can say it works. And how can anyone say they were most respected. THEY HAVE NO TRACK RECORD, ZIP, NADA,NOTHING...LOL

I love to laugh.

anyone still thinking about going with allegro?

How's this for customer service:

I googled their NY "payment" location by address, followed the links and called the phone number. Phone rang a few times, than an automated message informed me the estimated wait time was 99 minutes! LOL!

Hope nobody ever has a billing discrepency with Allegro!

sorry, make that "greater than 99 minutes" is exactly what the automated message says. Those wait times sound familiar to any of you HK victims out there?

Why would the number on allegrolaw.net listed for "debt management clients" be the same as the number I got when i googled the payment address? You mean to tell me that HUGE network of lawyers handle all their calls AND BILLING through the same phone number?! WOw! I guess that explains the "greater than 99 minutes" wait time!

Oh wait, that's just because waltj (aka ed cherry) is too busy posting in online forums to answer the phones!

Guys, please do not be taken by these scammers!

googled First consumer debt, it asks you to fill out a form, then someone is supposed to get in contact with you. The more important question is who do they put you in contact with? When you find that out, investigate whoever they put you in contact with.

This is much like, shudder, CCCOA, who put me in contact with HK. I'm not saying this is the same, but the M.O. is the same...

Always beware of any kind of company like this. They say they will drastically reduce your monthly payment, beware of that kind of talk. Remember, YOU can negotiate directly with your creditors/debt collectors. Believe me, if you really want to pay off your debt, they aren't going to refuse your money.

LOL.....First consumer debt consolidation says it's run by Jeff Gombos....LOL. On the BBB is says Jeff Gambos...LOL. HHHmmmm. That name sounds familiar doesn't it???? LOL....it's Jeff Gombos AKA Jeff Campos. Just go to sunbiz.org and put in Jeff Gombos and you will find that name associated with Hess Kennedy along with all his other shady companies.

They are still alive and kicking. This is so funny.

Well my more response was because I did sign up with Allegro Law. I did not do there debt settlement program but signed up with the debt management program. I recently found out about this site and have now seen things. Although i do not have anything bad at this point as it has been 3 months. I did notice that in my welcome packet from Allegro Law had me logging into a First Consumer debt consolidation site powered by Americorp. Tried to do my research and they were an A- in the BBB. Sooo????. But so far I have not seen anything go wrong as of yet. They sent my proposals out to the creditors and I have actually gotten responses back from my actual creditors accepting the proposals. Ok well one said that instead of the proposed $121 payment they wanted $126 (Capital One) a month and so I just responded as that being ok being I was paying them around 195 before. I have been watching my statements and the interest rates have changed as they said to keep an eye on along with seeing my payments showing posted on the statements. I dont know if there settlement program is any different. I don't know. So far though things have been OK. So that is my story I guess I am a guinea pig..lol but my eyes are watching my statements. So that is what i was curiuos about if anyone knew of them.
