Default Debt consolidation program

Hello all,

I am new here and I am looking for the best debt consolidation program for my situation. I am not late or behind in any payments, I am just frustrated with having to deal with 6 different companies in paying bills and whatnot. I want the convenience of 1 payment with the best interest rate I can get. Here are my sources of debt:

Flex Account LOC: $8,000

Credit Card 1: $3,500
Credit Card 2: $3,000
Credit Card 3: $3,000
Credit Card 4: $2,900

Total debt is: $20,400

I live in Southern California. I don't have a home I can borrow against, and I have a car w/ no equity (I owe just about what it's worth).

Thanks,
Kareem

What's your situation w/ the card? Behind? On-time? Minimum payments only? Peter to pay Paul?

I am not behind on payments, but I am making just a bit over the minimums. I am not juggling cards either, all the debt has been in it's respective place since inception.

Default Debt Consolidation

:?: I'm pretty much in the same position with an equal amount of debt. Trying to figure out a way to consolidate payments. We are not late on payments, but stretching every one to the last possible day. What suggestions do you have?

It is best to carefully set forth a detailed plan for debt consolidation and consider the aid of a qualified debt counselor. Remember debt reduction has to go along with cutting spending.

After researching the many different debt management programs offered here, I finally ended up signing up for a dmp with CCCS of Orange County. Their BBB Rating is "AAA" and I can find no complaints against the company. I filled out the online "intake" form and am waiting for a Credit Counselor to get back to me.

I'll let everyone know how it goes.

Thanks,
Kareem
