I cannot mention the company name because of my settlement agreement, but I was waiting for the copy of the agreement to be e-mailed to me and they sent me the copy of someone else's agreement with all they're personal info on it. I emailed them what they had done and received an email back saying they were sorry and wanted me to call them but gave me their fax # to call. I e-mailed them back to tell them and also that I wanted my agreement by 12:00 p.m. today. I had to go pick up my Grandaughter from school and it was in my e-mails when I got home.
These are people I stupidly trusted with all my personal information. I can't believe I felt desperate enough to do that.
I swear it will never happen again!

SAM as the company has no idea who you are on this website you can tell us their name we don't know who you are either and it could help others to know that they settled with you. They are not a court and can not put a gag order on you

Even if I signed a settlement agreement stating I would not mention their name or I would have to pay them 10,000.00

Why would they want their name kept a secret?

Could be because they would be admitting guilt and opening up the door for lawsuits or other legal actions taken against them by states. Or they would have to settle with every consumer that knew what to do to fight back. That's just me guessing though.

Steelers,
That sounds like the right answer to me. I'm in the same situation with of the pdl's that I settled with a long time ago.

You know Sam,
It's actually not so unbelievable, because think about it: they are probably paying their people peanuts to do this work and someone wasn't paying attention, right?

You're right, and I really wanted to call this woman and tell her what they did. At least the form shows she's getting a refund from them.

I'm glad someone is, Sam. But after all, in regards to the slipup with the mail: They are getting what they paid for, right?

Sam, I am in the same bind. The settlements I did I signed agreements. But guess what I found out they cant do nothing about it. They cant tell you what you can say that violates the constitution. KYSIDE38
