It depends which one you go with. Langhorn Law and Town and Country Associates charge a fee upfront, I think, but that fee is part of your 1st payment. There is a new one called Sifxpert that I heard was great that does not charge a fee up front. If you would like, leave more info. here about your situation, like what state you are in, etc. but no personal info. like names and numbers and someone will be along with more info. shortly.

thanks

Have you registered here for the free consultation quote? A counselor in your area will call and discuss about your situation. They can offer you different plans for paying off the debts. Either you can opt for a consolidation or a debt settlement plan, depending upon your situation. You will have lower payments in the settlement plan. And they will tell you in advance about the fees charged in the program. Make sure that you don't hurt the plan by missing a payment. The counselor will negotiate with your creditors for a lower payoff. They will work with you only if you assure them regular payments. If one payment is missed, they won’t wait in withdrawing all the benefits offered to you in the program.
