Emblem Credit Card
I have been with Emblem for the past year and half and found no problems with them. I have the credit card and my debt is almost paid in full. It does show up on my credit report that I have been paying on time. I hope this helps.

Read the fine print on this. There will be a condition that SOL will be reset on the debt you are paying off. If SOL has already expired then you have no legal obligation to pay it back. If you agree to their terms, they can bring legal action against you if you default again.

i started working with them in july to pay off a debt - the debt is now 100% paid off. they've raised the credit limit twice on the card (yeah - that's right - they RAISED the credit limit unlike everyone else who's lowering limits or closing accounts). anywho - no problems. great to work with. the card is now at a $0 balance and is my "in case of emergency card".

Emblem
You need not worry. I have an Emblem card for over a year, and everything has been legitimate.
I had bad credit and I received something from Jefferson stating that one of my accounts is willing to settle and and I can receive a credit card in return. The amount I owed to the debtor was $129. Since I already had bad credit and needed a credit card this seemed great. I went ahead and paid the full amount and within 3-4 weeks received a credit card. Although the credit limit was only $275, that was okay. I charged minimal things and paid the amount in full every month. After 6 months, I received an increase of $675 due to good payment. My credit report also reflects an increase of 15 points for this. So don't worry. They are credible. Good luck. |

Yes I agree
I owed a debt to Jeff. Cap. for 259 dollars, paid it off, it now shows paid on my credit report, I got the card, started with a limit of 113 dollars, and because of good payment i've gotten two credit limit increases, I have two other first credit cards by Premiere Bank, they are constantly turning down the offers for CL increase, which is discouraging, but Emblem is actually rewarding the fact that I pay on time. I thought they might be a scam at first, but I owed money and didn't have any good credit cards (I was getting Premiere cards the same month) so I thought i'd give it a try, and I'm glad I did, they report every month and have taken my score up at least 20 points in the last 10 months. Calling in, they are helpful and actually give you good advice about your credit, and how to make payments.. Never have had any surprises. One person I actually spoke to on the phone noticed that I was three days late on one of my payments, and said well, this one will be paid within grace period so don't worry, but remember to make your payments on time, because that'll boost your score and you'll be entitled to more credit limit increases!.. I was shocked, so many financial institutions want you to fail. so grade A definately.

Emblem credit card program
I recieved a letter from Jefferson about this program of paying one of my debts and gave me a discount of 195.00 and I paid 375.00 which left 155.oo which went on the card and I like the program really well they are always nice and helpful on the phone and if you make the payments and plus a little extra your credit goes up.
