I am 20 years old and I started getting in debt when I turned 18. Not realizing that becoming an adult took a lot of responsibility. I have made a lot of wrong choices and I want to try to get my credit back on track.

Welcome to the Community Dodge  What kind of debt are you in, credit card, pay day loans? A little more info will help us guide you in the right direction.
There are solutions to debt problems, ranging from do it yourself to debt consolidation, where you put all your unsecured debt into one monthly payment.
Have you tried talking with your creditors to see if they will lower or drop your interest while you get caught up? I have done this in the past, and it has worked.
Feel free to ask quesions, It took time, but I have been able to almost beome completely debt free, and working on the last one-so there is hope!!..KAren

You are still young and now that you have become more sensible, you will be on the right track. Do some home work on repairing your credit and you'll learn something very important for your future. Pull your latest credit copies and know the current status of each account. Dispute any inaccurate item with the CRA and get it removed. This will help to raise your scores. Once you know your account status with each creditor, call them and fix your payment arrangements. They will be willing to work on your terms and after the debts are paid off, the items will be updated with the bureaus.
