I'm 21 and haven't made the best decisions; those not-best decisions combined with unfortunate working situations because of my health issues ended up putting me in debt. Just when I saved enough to get clear something again happened, and I'm even deeper than I ever wanted to be.

I am sorry to hear about the work problems and your health issues. But you have come to the right place.

If you could tell us a little more about the debts that you have, someone here can point you in the right direction. So tell us a little more starting which state do you live in?

You are still too young and you will be able to fix your credit. Just make sure that you don't repeat the same mistake done in the past. Your credit ratings will be very important in your future because based on this, you will be able to get better deals from the future lenders.

Calculate the total outstanding balance and give a call to each creditor. Explain your situation and tell them that you have been going through some very rough times. You might be able to convince them for a lower interest rate and set a suitable plan. In case you need professional help, speak to a counselor referred by this website. He will negotiate with your creditors on your behalf.
