Quote:
CAPITAL ONE BANK (USA) N.A. v. HESS KENNEDY CHARTERED (E.D.Va. 7-3-200
Civil Action No. 3:08CV147-HEH.
July 3, 2008

THIS MATTER is before the Court on three motions: Defendants' Motion to Dismiss for Lack of Personal Jurisdiction, Improper Venue, and/or in the Alternative Forum Non Conveniens, joined by all Defendants except Consumer Credit Counseling of America, Inc. ("CCCA" CCCA's separate Motion to Dismiss pursuant to Rule 12(b)(6) of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure; and Plaintiffs' Motion for Leave to File an Amended Complaint. The parties have filed extensive memoranda of law in support of their respective positions. The Court will dispense with oral argument because the facts and legal contentions are adequately presented in the materials before the Court, and argument would not aid in the decisional process. For the reasons stated below, the Court will deny Defendants' Motions to Dismiss and will grant Plaintiffs' Motion to Amend.
I'm looking forward to HESS KENNEDY losing this in a big way. I hpe there is a criminal investigation involved.

We do post good news Mr newsupdate . The good news is Laura Hess is getting disbarred and is getting sued and prosecuted. The wheels of justice can be slow but is has finally caught up to Hess Kennedy. That is great news. Oh and by the way that article you posted is bogus . I was posted by Hess Kennedy them self. Its fake genius.

Little late with that update Eli. Unfortunately, justice was not served since they only disbarred her for 5 years instead of being publicly flogged during halftime at the Superbowl.

If any lawyer is disbarred, that is enough to prove that they suck at what they do...

it also proves that they are corrupt as all get.if a lawyer does the job they set out to do.they should be all right.it's when they see dollar signs and go for easy money that they get disbarred.same thing happens to rent-a-lawyers for bottomfeeder CA'S.the lawyer suffers and the CA just finds another willing to take the easy payday.it will eventually catch up to them.

I am glad they got shut down. They were kicking our law firm's ass in the National Arbitration Forum until we had our Bank contact the florida and north carolina attorney general to shut them down.
