hi my name is mike, i have over 12000 dollars debt and i am looking for an honest and reliable company i can turn to for debt help? is there such a company
Hi Sparkie,
I would do a search for debt consolidation companies here and research our members' experiences with them. It would also make a difference as to what kind of debt you have, since some companies specialize in payday loan debt and others do credit card, etc.
I'm gonna put in my '2 cents'. 'Sparkie', if you need good advice and some 'life knowledge' of certain companies, etc. you WILL find it here. Everyone, on this forum has 'lived' the bad/good experiences of debtors, PDL's, etc. Hang in there.

Im from oregon and in the same sort of situation. I have old CC debt and PDL and would like to get a debt counselor to help. got in contact with a place call Coastal Credit in San Diego, they don't do PDL but do CC. I would like to get all under one place.
Thanks, Peegy
By signing up for counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the pay off amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
