Does anyone know anything about a consumer counseling company called Consumer Law Associates, LLC. I want to know if this is a reputable company to deal with.

I could not find anything on that company. Have you tried searching the Beter Business bureau site. It may help you.

It seems like everything that ends in LLC is a scam. People incorporate their businesses that way to protect themselves from lawsuits.

who is Hess Kennedy? Find out the state this company does business with and better than checking their BBB status find out if they are registered with the state and are paying taxes, meaning they are a legit company. BBB affiliated businesses can also be corrupt, but they clean up their complaints rather quickly.

No need to find out anything. They are frauds. Just google their name and find out all the crap they are under. Even 2 news stations did a clip about them on TV. I posted them on this site.

I have never heard of this firm, or Hess Kennedy, but for the record, LLC stands for Limited Liability Corporation and has nothing to do with protection from lawsuits against the company. It is a legal shield that MANY companies use to protect their personal assets should the business venture become insolvent or bankrupt.

that also applies to lawsuits lawyer.small businesses get sued alot.
