So, I'm still dealing with my FAVORITE IPDL-CashSupply. I filed compliants with the state of Wisconsin DFI, and they haven't responded to their letters. But, here is my email chain with my compliance officer:

Quote:
Hello Michael,

I hate to beat a dead horse, but I am still getting phone calls from Cash Supply. They are being very harassing and threatening. They have still not responded to my BBB compliant. I just wanted to find out the status of my complaint.

Thank you,

Cash Supply has not yet responded to our letter, but most companies respond in 3-4 weeks. I will send Cash Supply a follow up letter today. Unfortunately, because Cash Supply is not a licensee of ours there is no way to expedite the process. If they continue to call, just ask them to stop calling and then hang up. I would not even discuss the account with them.

I will let you know as soon as I hear something.

Mike

So, Cash Supply is not a liscensed lender in the State of Wisconsin?

Since Cash Supply is not located in Wisconsin they are not required to be licensed with us. They would still have to follow our State's collection practices laws, but from what information I have, it does not appear that they would need a license.

Can any of the moderators, or debt samaritans give some info?

****Also, on a side note, I had gotten a call from a number that I traced back to MTE Financial, since I had loans with 500FastCash, and Quickest-Cash-Advance.com. I filed compliants with the WI DFI saying I did send them a cease and desist, but that I had way over paid them (MTE- $635 on a $300 loan, and 500Fast Cash-$500 on a $300 loan). I told them I wanted at least a PIF and a refund and that I was not to be contacted. I wouldn't have done this if it weren't for you all! ****************

Keep in touch with your AG. Since none of the loan companies are licensed in your state, you can expect all help from your AG. Don't send anymore money to these companies if you have already paid the principal amount. You can fight back against them by being aware of the laws.
