Bills with IRS is a federal debt, you need to pay them as quickly as possible to avoid any legal actions from the federal authorities. In most cases, you can modify the repayment plan with them. Give a call to know more about your options.
There are companies who consolidate student loans also. Read this link and gather some important tips on getting started

thanks BKP, i just got the contract from T&C but they told me irs debts and student loans can be added also. i dont think i need to consolidate those two has i am already in a payment plan with the irs and my student loans are already consolidated with a 4%. i pay 132.00 mthly for my student loans and irs payments are 55.00 for state and 75.00 for federal. any suggestions mthly and i think that is reasonable. i will only do my other debts which total approx 6000 and they are asking for 270.00*2 for the debt consolidation

Since you are already in a payment plan with the IRS and the loan company and are able to manage the payments, stick to it.
Shop with few other companies for consolidating the other debts and find out the best deal they have to offer in your situation. Look at the ranking chart section for other dmp companies in your area. Make sure that your research them with your local attorney general and the BBB before entering into a contract.

finechile, are you already with T&C? Or did they just give you a contract to review? I do believe that some members of the forum also use a company called Langhorne. They do pay day loans. I think only pay day loans though. You can do a google search on the site and look up langhorne. Did you do a search to see if the pdl's are licensed in your state? Did you say you're from NY?

yes cannr i am from ny i already posted my questions in dealing with i click, ucl, usfast cash, cash supply, cash today and ten doll payday aka mte. i also emailed ag's office and the bbb, i also closed my account. i got the contract today from T&C but they say they can consolidated irs payments and student loans. i will leave those two payment as is because i am satisfied with the arrangements. see post above.they included my student loans and irs and i think the contract said 101 mths. i think that is too long 8 years. i also included the pdls but i am going to take them out because i have paid a lot in fees for all of them and have already paid off for the loans plus interests.

fine, take the pdl's out. In NY they are prohibited anyway. Why would you want to pay someone to make payment arrangements with illegal companies? Good job. At least you got your other loans agreed upon. But I do believe you're right. Take the pdl's out of the agreement. First of all, illegal in New York. Second, you've already paid them. Lord, don't pay them anymore!
