Can a United States based timeshare company enfore outstanding debt payment on Canadian customers? The debt is for about $15,000and a payment has not been made in 6 months. At this point phone calls and threats have been received on a daily basis, but the understanding that has been passed on is that they will continue to call and intimidate as there is no legal recourse. Clearing up this matter would be ideal, but dealing with them is next to impossible. Information would be appreciated.

Yes, you can be pursued in Canada. There are agreeements between the US and Canada which allow a US judgment to be domiciled in Canada. International collections is becoming big business.
