Well, you can read about them at the BBB site, link below:
http://www.bbb.org/utah/business-rev...ty-ut-22241651
If I were you, I would close your account asap and obtain a new account at a totally different bank, read some of the previous posts in this thread and make your own decision on what to do. They have a F rating with the BBB, that's not a good sign.

I have borrowed a $200 payday loan from Kingston Financial around summer of 2009 and, like some of you, I have paid them the $89 processing fee bi-weekly every month until February of this year (2010). I know with all of the $89 processing fees that they have debited from my checking account, that I have paid them off, plus more. I finally said "Enough is enough", and I requested that my bank put a stop on the bi-weekly payments for as long as possible because I am planning to pay them off myself. My question is, with all of the bi-weekly payments they've debited from my account, does that not mean that I "technically" paid them off? Or should I just send in that $289 payment and get them out of my hair?

being as they are illegal.you have overpaid this loan.instead of a stop payment which won't work see the bank manager, and close that account and open a new one not linked to the old account.you owe this place nothing, but they will keep debiting.they will change amounts,co name,or put through a paper check.go to the sticky at the top of this forum titled DEALING WITH ILLEGAL LENDERS,that will give you all the info you need to get this place out of your hair.

This lendor only has the two options, pay the rollover fee or pay in full. I was offered a payment pay off of $200 if i paid a week prior to my next pay date. If it was that easy why couldn't i do this on my next pay date?

Do you mean to say they are depositing money in your account without your approval and is then debiting your account to collect various fees and charges? Well, this is exactly most of the payday loan companies do to rip you off. If they credit your account again, contact your bank and have the money sent back to the payday loan company. Talk to your bank manager and tell him that you do not authorize any withdrawal from your bank account by this loan company. Ask him to block any further withdrawal attempt by Kingston Financial. If possible, close the bank account and open a new one.

Hi Tracy,
Have you already taken the loan? Or is it that they've deposited the loan amount into your account without any approval from you. In case they've deposited the money and you do not want it, contact your bank and have the money sent back to the payday loan company.

It's indeed a wise decision to avoid using payday loans as they can rip you off your money. You should rather try and get some assistance from your relatives or friends. You can also ask your employer for an advance against your next paycheck. You may approach a credit union or a small lender for the loan. You may also consider using your credit card to get a cash advance as it'd be better than getting a payday loan.

@ Unregistered, #67:
Somehow i get the feeling this individual is a representative of this company. I sent an email to the one in the post and NO ONE replied. Their phone NUMBERS get you through to NO ONE. This company is total BS. I have a friend with the Minnesota division of the FBI. I've, thus far, filed my own complaints against them, mailed and emailed them letters of revocation (I have an individual's signature from signing for the delivery) and closed my checking account. They have attempted to debit this account, but it is being rejected. My next step is to contact my friend and go on a seek and destroy mission. This company (and all like them) need to be leveled to the ground and its heads thrown in prison. I will not let this go without a fight. it simply just isn't enough to get them out of my own hair; I want them out of EVERYONE'S hair.

I am really scared because I can related with the people who recently appiled with this company and the number s don't work and the emails don't work from all the information that has been provided on this site I have email :: info@kingstonfinancialonline.com and admin@brightonfnl.com called the 1-800-738-0995
800-620-8790 and even from my bank I asked them to a reverse search on thier bank that actaul provides the loan their bank number that I received from mine was 303-637-7022 and then they provided me with the company's number in Utah 801-263-7080 which leads you into a voicemail where leave a message I don't know if anyone has done this yet but I am trying

Based on some of the other posts at this forum, others haven't been able to contact them either, if I were you, I would close that account and open a new one at a different bank because now that they have your account number it will never be safe again. Close the account before they deposit the money, and never get a loan on the Internet again, it's much too risky and will surely compromise your personal information.

made a loan through Kingston financial. I made an agreement to pay $189 twice and my account will be settled. Up to know they have withdrawn $467.00 and believe i still woe them. The last time I spoke with one of their collection agent 4/12/10 he could not exactly tell me how much i had to pay to settle my account. then he stated that I had to pay another $100.00 totaling $567.00 I put a hold on their debit because i believe they are over charging me.
