Thank you steelers, someone who knows how to read. Yes the guy from langhorne did sound upset w/ nationwide. I tell Mr. Blake and he wants to know exactly who told me this. He sounded angry himself. I didn't trust him at all. Just a vibe i got over the phone. To eveyone else please don't post a response to my question before thoroughly reading what i've written before making a comple a** out of yourself. You can take your perfect English and stick it , this isn't an english class nor am i impressed w/ your diction. I couln't care less. That's not what i'm here for. I'm not impressed. We are on this board to help one another. If your not trying to help me, then ignore my post. Better yet , go out do something with yourself.

I hope everything is straightened out for Goldie, but I'm afraid I cannot join you in bashing Langhorne Law. They have been nothing but kind to me since I signed up with them last month and I have the upmost respect for Dennis and everyone on his team. I have always been treated with the upmost respect and courtesy with them everytime I have called and I know if there is some sort of an error on Goldie's account, they will bend over backwards to fix it. Just my 2 cents.

What an unfortunate mess you're in right now, goldiebx. I know what a nightmare it can be. Good for you for working on getting everything paid off. It can be very frustrating when people won't work with you. It sounds like you started doing business with Langhorne Law before he came "to the other side (our side)," and as Steelers1 said, some PDLs are still using their name, which they are not supposed to be doing. I think the blame is with the PDLs (Nationwide, is it?), not with Langhorne Law. If you go to the Marcia Brady post, it explains how Dennis (of Langhorne Law) USED to work for the PDLs but then decided he was on the wrong side and is helping the people who have been abused by these PDLs. I think we were all a little skeptical at first, but the new Langhorne Law has been proving that they are on our side and has already helped many people out, cbigfan7 being one of them. So again, I really think your beef is with Nationwide, not Langhorne Law. The best of luck to you. Let us know what happens.

Ok, update guys. Nationwide did refund the full amount 11/13. I had no problems w/ Mr. Blake fron nationwide. He was actually cordial while I was ranting. The credit still showed up under Langhorne's name though. Thanx Dennis for all your help. I really appreciate your patience. Thank you to all on the forum also. You too cbig.

I know that this probably off the topic, but what in the world is Langhorne Law?

That is great you had a positive outcome. I'm happy to see that Dennis is helping you. What is he going to do about these companies still using his name?

kscornell,

Customer service is extremely important to me. I'm glad to hear they are so courteous. They weren't doing this when I was in my pdl mess last winter but that is behind me now. I agree that he is doing a great service for the forum members here. Goldie, I'm glad to hear things worked out for you

Langhorne Law, aka Dennis Williams, sits on the Board of Directors of a payday loan company. His claims that he no longer is in the hard core collections business (working as a crony for Larry David Frascella, who are in essence "CashToday" and "Ambassador Financial Services), but Mr Williams of Langhorne Law claims to have reformed his ways, and now works on behalf of consumers telling them how to get out of paying a loan. Truth is, Mr Dennis Williams sits on the Board of Directors of a company called Quick Check Financial, of Carson City Nevada. Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing my friends. If you trust a guy like Dennis Williams, who did, and still does work as the lackey and puppet of two disreputable payday lenders out of philadelphia (Larry and david Frascella), you should RUN, not walk, away from Langhorne Law and Dennis Williams. Plus, he is too busy running his payday loan company, to bother with your problems.

wth? *looking at theshadows posting* Steelers I have no idea what Dennis is going to do about the pdl's still using his firm's name. Mishele, yea Mr. Baker was nice about what happened w/ the mess up. Yea that's a first for me also. I was getting such an attitude w/ him and he's like "how is your day going?, We can fix that problem right away etc. He wasn't the nicest person nor was he the rudest. He didn't like the fact that I was being rude and he told me so, but i was angry and worried i wouldn't get my money back. Dennis was really nice when he could have just told me to not call his number anymore and to deal w/ nationwide myself. He gave me the direct number to nationwide and told me exactly whom to ask for. Really helpful person.

"Beware of Shadow's postings" is what I say. Shadows always seems to be wanting to stir up trouble. It is funny, if this is so true, then why are so many members getting such favorable results with Dennis? I didn't even sign up for services with Dennis and YET he gave me his time free of charge to discuss internet pdls. What proof do you have with your allegations Shadow? I am interested.

Yup, me too steelers! He explained exactly what was going on w/ nationwide and told me when the money would be back in my acct and he also said if it wasn't there that day that we would all three him, myself and nationwide get on the phone and have a threeway to find out what was going on. Luckily the money was credited to my acct, so i didn't have to call nationwide back. Dennis a patient person and i'm not a client. Pay no heed to theshadow.

Have you ever noticed that everytime someone compliments Dennis' work, "the shadow" always comes out and down grades him? "the shadow" probably works for a pdl company and is just mad b/c someone finally decided to help people instead of taking advantage of them. Whoever you are "the shadow," I'm quite sure your company is being investigated by the AG's office of every state for not being licensed and whatever else you're doing that is illegal.

The Frescella brothers owned this PDL on Race St in philly. They were quickly bounced out of Pennsylvania and moved on to New York where they were also banned from doing business.Eventually went bankrupt. when they did go bankrupt one of their creditors was their very own lobbiest!

They eventually opened up a new PDL under a new name.

When I was dealing with the PDL I always mentioned the Franscella brothers and Artis systems, the actual company that does the ACH's.

The last document I saw with L'Law and Nationwide Cash's signature was a C&D from California dated 6 September 2006.
