Was it langhorne that did this to you or another pdl? I don't know how they do refunds, I would check your contract.

Banks will charge a stop payment fee on debit blocks, it's the same cost as putting a stop payment on a paper check. I would be ticked if I were you as well. Have you disputed this with your bank? These internet pdls are famous for doing this to people until they get back what they think they deserve. It would be worth the charge to block them from your account.

i should have just done the stop payment or changed my debit card and told the bank i lost it. I just called the bank and they told me to call langhorne and tell them to release the funds or sign a form disputing which will take 7-10 business days. It's been about 3 months and finally i get my whole check, been counting down the weeks and now this. i'm calling those idiots first thing tomorrow morning. I miss citibank. if i had a dispute they would immediately take care of it. Commerce i have to go into the branch fill out a form 7-10 business days blah blah blah.

Hello Pat/Goldiebx/PDL stalker or whoever you are. I find it hard to believe that you just made your last payment with Langhorne (which means you have been doing business with them for at least 6 months) and you have no idea how to reach them. Give me a break. I have only been working with them for 2 weeks and not only have them on speed dial but have their number memorized. I think you are a PDL stalker who is trying to make Langhorne look bad. Why don't you go look in your welcome kit they mailed you? Or read your contract you signed? Or log in under you internet access code they gave you to track your account when you signed up? Hmmm? Oh thats right you, cant because you're not a client. Just some PDL loser trying to disparage an organization doing wonderful work for a lot of people. That's my story and I'm sticking to it

excuse cbigfan7 i really don't care what you believe. I have been doing business w/ pdl several of them. My acct went into collections SO they contacted me and started debiting my acct. Are you still following? When the debits would come into my bank the name was under langhorne law not the pdl's. They have been debiting my acct since 9/07. Oct 25th was supposed to be the last date. They debited yesterday. I don't have any acct acct w langhorne. I've never contacted them until today and was told that they were working w/ nationwide cash and they no longer worked w/ them as of 6/2006. I was told to contact Mr. Blake at nationwide becuase the person on the phone from langhorne advised me that a lot of plp have been wrongly debited by them but langhornes' name is showing up in their accts even though they no longer do business with them. I did contact Mr. Blake from nationwide and he said the money would be back into my acct in 2-3 business days from now. Are you still following or you still being an ahole? Read before you start critizing you idiot! Pdl stalker? moron. I set up a deal w/ nationwide to pay off my acct . I'm done as of 10/25! or so i thought. i had no business dealings w/ langhorne and assumed because of my agreement w/ nationwide i was done paying. So take your story and shove it!

If that is true, than I apologize. There are a lot of stalkers on here trying to undermine the spirit and message of this board, and Langhorne lately has been a huge target. As I said, I found it hard to believe that a client of Langhorne would have no idea how to reach them. Since I am obviously the one with some class and a somewhat intelligent and civil command of the English language here, I will take the high road and not respond to your profane diatribe. di-a-tribe: a bitter and abusive speech or writing. Your rant is testimony to the fact that you may have needed help with that one

I think it was hard to understand what was going on. Did Langhorne double dip into your account or was it the pdl you had made an arrangement with? But if I understand it right, it was a pdl that used to work with Langhorne not Langhorne itself doing the double dipping. Is that right?

ok, steelers i had several accts w/ pdsl they went into collections. I made agreement with them so when the debits would come out, they were coming out under langhorne law not any of the pdl companies. I called langhorne law this morning and the guy on the phone told me that they no longer work nationwide since 6/02 i don't know exactly what happened but the guy did say they have gotten a lot of complaints from plp about them doing the same things to their accts. He gave me the number to nationwide and told me to speak w/ a Mr. Blake. I called and I explained what happened i went through the payment dates w/ him and i was supposed to pay up until 10/25 which i started from 9/7. Two weeks ago was my last payment , Mr. Blake went in his records and tried to scam me saying i missed a payment complete bs. I have my bank statements. I'm no idiot. Anyways to make a long story short after i hung up on him, i called back spent a few more minutes talking to him and was told that the money would be credited back in 2-3 business days. I'm waiting until then, after that if he hasn't i'm putting in investigation on the payment to the bank. cbig i got your loser right here buddy.

I think I remember Dennis posting something some time ago that these pdls that he used to work with are still using his name and they were notified to stop, but some are still doing this. It is unfortunate because I think Dennis is doing a good thing for people and it seems like the pdls way of slamming his name and company's name. I hope you get your money back in your account soon.

Guys/Ladies, let's not argue please. Name calling really isn't going to solve anything. If you have questions of eachother, you can use the PM to ask eachother....If you feel that someone is pretending to be someone they're not, or that they're in some way a fraud, or a "stalker" or many of the other accusations that are going around these boards, send a moderator or an admin a PM and we can look into it. Let's keep these posts helpful for others.

I'm not trying to involve myself or start a different argument, I'm requesting this in the spirit of the community.

(Sorry if I'm rambling, I'm really tired. Smile )
