I need some help with my debt. I tried to go with a different company and they told me it was too late to help me. The Law Firm just served me papers a week ago. Is there anything you can do to help?

I believe you have already signed up for the free counseling referred by this website. You will be getting a call from the consultant in your area. He will call the law firm and get some payment arrangements done so that you don't have to go to the court.

I did not sign up for anything in this website yet. What all do I need to do to find the consultant in my area. I am new to all of this.

Once you fill up the free counseling application form here you will get a call from the consultant in your area. They will let you know about your options and negotiate with your creditors.
Have you been served summons by the court?

Yes I was served papers a week ago. Is that going to make a difference? Can you still help?
