My husband and I got into a situation where we can't pay some of our credit cards...we want to repay everyone but with late payments and over the limit fees raising because of the late payments some of our cards reached a point where we aren't sure which way to go...we tried to make arrangement but the companies would not accept our payment as it wasn't high enough to meet what they requested.. I continued to pay low amounts but it's to the point where there is no hope..any thoughts/

You need some professional help now. A debt consultant will have a fixed plan set for you with the creditors. You will get lower interest rates and most of the late fees being waved off.
Since you are already registered, someone from your area will discuss about your options before you set up a payment plan with the company.

yes you need some help thats for sure, but i think your number one step is to really think about making more money, i think if you and your wife are not making any more then 60k a year, then you need to find a new job or back to school, debt starts from not having money or making little.
