I want to notify all my creditors to only communicate with my attorney. I am absolutely broke, a senior, no asetts, only social security. How much work will mey attorney have to do in keeping the creditors away. Will he have to answer numerous letters from the same creditor thus having to charge me. What does my attorney put in his letter than tells the creditor they are wasting their time.

Welcome to the Community malibu ron If you have already hired an attorney, they need to answer some questions for you.
Have them put down what expenses you may incur doing this, all their fees, etc. They will also have knowledge of what to put in the letters, or mine did.
If you haven't hired an attorney, check out the Legal Aid in your community. I have has several of my friends use them and they have been pleased.
Hang in there, we are here to help..KAren

If you are broke, how will you pay an attorney?
Study this forum and sent the letters out yourself. Once your creditors see "attorney contact only" they will see $$ signs, and the correspondance will start and wont stop.
If your financial shape is that bad, you might be better off filing for bankruptcy.
