Does anyone have any recommendations as to a superb debt consolidation company for credit card debt. I believe we are up to our ears for about $30,000. I would like someone I can work with online and that won't just stock pile money into a savings and then pay people off. I would also like something that doesn't take my first payment just to cover their fees. Any info would be great esp pros and cons of these companies. Much Thanks!

The way i understand consolidation co's is that's how they work. I'm not sure of any other way other than a consolidation loan.
Maybe someone knows of such a thing and will respond soon.
Good Luck,
Ang
P.S. Also the way i understand it is they try to pay off ur debt in 3 years and at 30,000 seems like a LOT to pay off in that time. I've heard if it's more than 3 years u may still find urself in court. (just what i've been told not fact)

What state are you in? You may speak to the financial coach of this website and discuss your situation. He will refer you to a reputed company in your area. The number to call is 800-601-1579

Hello mwmammaroo,

I would suggest you to call the number on the right side of your screen. They will let you know exactly what you can do, how much it will cost, and how long it will take. They have lowered my interest rates to the average of 8% on all accounts. My rates were above 30% prior to the call. Yes, there is a setup fee and a monthly fee, but it is nothing compared to what you will pay in interest & fees if you do it yourself. I have a relatively small debt and I will have it paid off in 3 years. I will be paying the same exact amount per month that I was paying otherwise. Its just going to take 5 years less than otherwise. Do yourself a favor, give them a call. There is no obligation to accept anything (no I dont work for them, its just my way of thanking them for their help!)
