I should also mention that it takes time to do a debt settlement program. The first few months are the roughest. I don't know how CLC works, but in our company, everything kind of smoothes out after a month or two. Once you start building up settlement funds, the negotiations begin. Most of the debt settlement process is a stall tactic to give you time to build up some money.
If you want to do it yourself, there is a great resource; the "Do it yourself" link above. __________________

My question to you is. what are the chances of it actually settling? im 6183 in one credit card. Its the calls to my family that really bothered me. I just want to get this taken care of ASAP, and i feel I do need assistance.

As far as credit card debt goes, everybody settles.
Cease and Desist letters should prevent them from calling you. They can only call friends/family to locate you one time. If anyone ever calls you at work, make sure to tell them you can't receive calls of this nature at work. They can't call back. Its the law. __________________
