Hello all! I've learned through my travels here on this site that quite possibly a lot of these PDL people owe me a lot of money! Don't get me wrong, I'm not expecting to actually COLLECT any of it, but I do want to try!
I was hoping someone here might have an example of a letter I can send requesting (demanding?) my refunds. What I need is a letter stating that a)the company isn't licensed in my state (California) and b)that the law in CA is that the loans cannot be flipped and all they can collect is the principal amount + 1 fee. Since I've paid WAY more than that, they owe me $$$$.
Any help I can get would be most appreciated! And I'll definitely come back and share any progress I'm able to make with regard to this!
Thanks so much...have a great day!

Hi Pernoleum,
Yep, some of us here have had some success getting refunds from companies. Maybe we can help..
Can you be more specific? What companies are you dealing with? Check your pm.

SJM Marketing is the big one...I figure they owe me $870. Interim Cash also owes me big time...around $600. I know it's probably a longshot that I'll get anything out of these two, but like I said, it's worth a shot!
Thanks for your help!

SJM I know nothing about..But who knows what can happen! Interim is not a very good time..Don't expect much from them, but I did get my loan with them marked paid in full, and maybe you can too.
I'm more than happy to be able to help you...It's what I'm around here for! Once again, Polly's magic letter to the rescue..It's been awhile!

Pernoleum..
Formulate your letters and add up what you've paid vs the loan amount with the appropriate interest rates allowed for your state....
Good luck
