How do you know they are the real deal? What's your experience with them and how did they stop the phone calls which never seem to stop?

JP Penn,

When did they switch to software? I signed up 2 months ago and they told me that there lawyers would handle everything. Does this mean that I'll have to buy a software now? Also, are they switching there company name again? My counselor told me that the reason they switched from Lifegaurd to Safetrust was because attorneys bought the company. Did the attorneys now sell the company?

Sorry for all of the questions, but am trying to make sense of all of this in my head. I too was very skeptical when I signed up with them. My creditors are calling me and telling me that they haven't heard from Safetrust. I only have $84 in my account with Noteworld, although I've been paying over $500 a month. Their webpage and customer service number has changed also.

I'm very worried I got ripped off, CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME ANSWERS???

I am to a client with them. was served today in fact and got a hold of the legal department on the first try. Been with them for 9 months. trying to work on a settlement right now with a creditor. From my understanding they can't pay a settlement untill the funds are in the account. In the mean time to get rid of the calls you have to send out the Cese and assist letters that you should have recived in you packet when you signed up.

we are with lifeguard right now and having difficulties communicating with them and seeing any movement in our process. they were so helpful and friendly at first. the lady seemed to really care about us and want to help us get debt free. so the first month they did a two year agreement amount instead of a three year so we had to resign papers and everything got delayed and confused. once we worked it out and got the right amount going it seems that their communication with us and letting us know where we're at with things has been far and few inbetween. anyone have any suggestions for us???

Malrach is a liar.

Watch out. These companies are praying on the innocent. They say they have an a rating but that is not true check for yourself. Why would you sign over power of attorney to your bank accounts to anyone. They can take everything you have.
Your attorney must have tried really hard to passthe bar because OMG is that wrong!!! If your money is not in a trust account it can be frozen or seized and settlement payments will not be able to be made NOTEWORLD the banking institution that receives and holds your payments in your name in YOUR account has been around a LONG time is A+ rated with bbb any attorney who knows anything about debt settlement would tell you NEVER save the money for settlement in an account other than a trust.

This is not true.
I have worked in the industry.
When you enter debt settlement a good company will contact your creditors and say you are in Debt Settlement...and send Cease and Desist letters. Laws dictate the creditors will have to deal with your Debt Settlement company. If they continue to harass you....that is a violation.
Sending cease and desist letters is a sure way to speed up your creditors taking legal action against you the best way to deal with collectors when in settlement programs is to put off your creditors or collection agents just say " I cannot afford to make a payment now butwill call as soon as I am able"

I have been with them for this is my 5th payment. I am currently getting so many calls from creditors and threats of sueing me from letters getting mailed to me. I can get ahold of them in fl. but the branch I work with in PA does not pick up their damn phones. I call 5 to 10 times a day to try and get ahold of someone, I can call FL branch and talk to someone but they always give me the run around.

Noteworld tells me that they are a quailified company cause they wont work with anyone that scams. I am not seeing anything happen...You know what is funny? A credit card I didn't sign up with them, I wasn't able to make payments on and was only behind 2 months...SETTLED WITH ME WITHOUT them / and treated me alot nicer than my other cards that are on Lifeguard.

If I didn't have all that money suck in fees for people do due nothing I would cancel...but I would lose over 1k in money...

Ill see how this goes...but I swear that the first CC to sue me I will personally find out where they are in PA and I dont care Ill cancel...even tho I'll be losing alot of money but this is bull shit...I called Care One and I wish i would have went with them instead of these lying people....

Good luck for all that got scammed by these people...I hope someone will catch these people and get our money back

have any of you who were not satisfied with the company and fired them been able to retrieve the monies that they took from your checking accounts. I spoke with a guy who said they bought Lifeguard and said you could request your money back minus processing fees of about $300.00. You only needed to write a letter. I still have not been refunded. I was never behind but was told that my credit score had dropped and they wanted to help cut my bills in half by lowering the interest rate. I was not told that they wouldn't make the payments to the company until after I'd received letters of indebtedness, threats of being sued for nonpayment. They told me this was to guarantee that the debtors would talk to them they had to withhold the funds to ensure I was at least 90 days past due. The collection calls and letters came before 90days. Now I am out of my money and two bills still have not been paid.

No lates on their accounts ~ then why are your clients encouraged to STOP ,making payments And adding insult to their situations How is that helping their efforts to get out of debt ? What does that do to their Credit rating ? sort of making a bad situation worse aren't you ~ or do you use it as leverage to the Creditor take the deal or they file bankruptsy and you get nothing ! Like the poor guy who lost his home and you got the money

(({Lifeguard Financial sign me up for the so called “program” to negotiate my credit card dept at 55% with my lenders. Instead they took $ 13,755.40 doing nothing. I had myself negotiate credit card dept to avoid litigations. Because of the actions of Lifeguard Financial and the intermediate escrow liaison NoteWorl d LLC. I have to stop my mortgage payments and leave my home foreclosed. When I request to close the account they refused to return me my money}))
