Hi Guest, as far as my knowledge is concerned, it' s an intimation that, your account will be forwarded to an Attorney for obtaining judgment. Actually, they are preparing the ground for a legal suit.

Was the approach unsolicited/telemarketed, or did you fill out a form online? I am asking this b/c Debt Mitigation companies that use telemarketers are driven by commission. Where you have commission you have ulterior motives. There are some great companies out there. Let me know if you have any questions. Feel free to PM or email me below.
they called me and i filled a contract on line . which I saved until now the line is barred,I have called using 866 number and I am told to leave a message

For all of the complaints and responses to the complaints that I have reed. Alllot of people forget several things. 1, When dealing with people money, credit, debt, etc if one little thing go's wrong (they think it was wrong) they flip out and go right to the internet a post complaints with out all the facts.2. The person who said most people do not finish the program is correct.

You people who are in debt and are with a debt settlement company let then do there job, and do not tell then how to do there job. I have been in the business for 8-10 years and have helped may clients (ones that finish the program) and the ones how stop paying you cant help them. Those people need to FOLLOW THE PROGRAM IT WORKS!!

If you go to cnnmoney.com and use the credit card calculator and enter the following. 1. Total balance of each card. 2. Monthly payment. 3. Interest Rate on each card. The click on submit it will tell you how much you will pay in in interest, how much to balance, and how many years it will take you to payoff you debt. You will be amazed, more then 17 years on most cases. Allot of you will die in debt. The debt will out live you, then you will put the burden on family to fix the problem that you could have done in 12,18,24,36,48, 50, (time frame go's by the amount of debt) if you would have been not so closed minded. Most people need help and won't ask for it. You do not need to be the hero. LOSE THE EGO SWALLOW YOU PRIDE AND ENROLL IN A PROGRAM AND FOLLOW THE CONTRACT AND FINISH THE PROGRAM AND YOU WILL BE DEBT FREE and you can start to rebuild your credit. Takes about 2 years to get your FICO score up again.Again make sue you people have all your facts before respond to this posting or complain.

When you dont pay your creditors they get concerned and attempt to collect...All they want is your money...So if you accumulate money in your trust account and it is avail to settle the account that your CREDITOR is offering, where is the scam? i hear the word scam alot but I have not seen one example of a scam? Please someone, anyone explain what the scam is????

Duh- You are right... The people on here are focussing on minor details of how you are expressing. They should be looking at the message you are trying to put across. Which you are correct. Chances are the person who originally complained got frustrated at the fact that they couldnt wait to finish their program. Debt settlement takes time. If you are in a 3 year program you can not expect to be debt free in 5 months. You must complete the program. If you complete the time frame, but your debts arent settled well then your with a wrong company. But "Duh" is correct. Most people cancel because they believe what their creditors/Collection department(people trained and who make a commission to scare people back into monthly payments that keep them in debt for 40+ Years)

I support you "Duh"

Lifeguard was not bought by FBL Associates, it is in fact cleaning up the mess that was left behind. I should know since I am stuck cleaning that mess everyday.

From reading this post I feel that many of the extremely horrible emails are from competitors trying to trash the company. If that's what you have to do I guess have fun. I own FAST Debt Advisors, LLC and we work in conjunction with FBL and Associates through ESP. I've been to their headquarters and operations facilities multiple times and can tell you that they are staffed with professionals. Yet, just like any other company you will find a bad apple here and there. When found they go away. Anyhow, all the "real" bad press on FBL stemmed from Lifeguard. Lifeguard Financial grew rather rapidly and many unethical affiliates where signed on board. Unfortunately, it took a while to pin point all of the bad affiliates but I can assure you that they are now all gone. FBL now handles all of LGF's past clients in addition to the ESP clients. I've been working with them for a while and they truly do a great job on the back-end. FBL does not do any sales or enroll clients! So for some of you to state that they didn't explain how the fee's were collected and etc really makes no sense. It would be the enrollment company that mislead you if anything. Any how, debt settlement through any means (service, software, or do it yourself) is not for everyone. It is for a select few that truly qualify. If you make to much money or have alot of assets you risk being sued because you truly have the ability to satisfy these debts. If you make to little and can't afford anything, and barely our monthly payment then bankruptcy maybe your option. If you need a professional to help you find which way to go please visit fastdebtadvisors .com or call 877-693-7750.

The guy who made the post above (#301) made the copied post below less than a year ago trashing the same company that he is now praising. Hey RICKY LOPEZ, don't you have work to do as the BIG BOSS-MAN of Fast (talking) Debt Advisors? Also, aren't you the BOSS-MAN of a few other debt companies like Managable Debt Solutions? Why do u keep changing your company name? Hiding from someone? Like the AG?!?! I expect a response from you since you just sit around wasting your time blogging. Do your job

Sub: #145 The Debt Settlement Savior
Indeed it is a very unfortuate situation when a debt settlement company steals money from those who are in need of financial relief. I am a C.E.O. and owner of an ethical debt settlement company. So here is my advise! When seeking a third party to handle your debts please do the following. 1) Check the number of complaints on the B.B.B. 2) Verify that they are members of the U.S.O.B.A. or T.A.S.C. 3) Check if they are members of the I.A.P.D.A. and 4) Find out if they offer a money back guarantee. Here at Manageable Debt Solutions, Inc. we comply with all of the above. Our money back guarantee ensures that if we don't save you money we don't make any. So please do your research because we are one of the five companies that actually offer such a guarantee out of thousands of debt settlement companies. Also, when checking a B.B.B. rating only pay attention to the number of complaints. The reason for this is because the B.B.B. automaticaly rates all debt settlement companies with low rating due to the practices like those above. The true way to rank a B.B.B. listing is by the number of complaints. Also, debt settlement isn't for everyone so make sure your debt settlement company properly qualifies you. Otherwise, you may be put in a worse position than where you started. With MDS we explain everything simply and upfront. No hidden information or charges. So try us out and give on of our Debt Specialists a call. To get our number just google our name and visit our website. If you'd like feel free to ask for me personaly. If I am available I will be more than glad to assist you with your financial hardship. If not I can assure one of my agents will be more than glad to help you out. I wish you and your family the best of luck with your financial situation and hope you choose the right company. Best regards, Ricky Lopez.

I need to set the record streight! For some reason everyone is under the impression that once you enroll into a Debt settlement program such as lifeguard or safetrust that your debt will be settles in a matter of a few months. Were you get your information I have no Idea, but you need to get you information from some where else because who ever is feed you this information is lying to you!
IT is a process!!! It took you several years to dig this hole you are in and it wil take these companies time to get you out.
The process is simple:
The creditor has to know that you can not pay th debt in full. Think about this? In most cases you never signed up for 29% interest did you? NO! if you want to be upset with someone then be angree with the one that is keeping you in bondage (the credit card companies)
Second, your debt is paid with your own monies. So if you don't have enough noney in your account how can you expect anyone to settle it for you. Again, it is a process and takes time to get the creditor to accep an fair offer and for you the client to accrue the money to pay it off at the settled amount. IF you want to see how its done go to this web site and see it for yourself http://www.noteworld.com
Last, once the offer is receiced and agreed upon by both the creditor and the client if and only if the client has enough funds to pay the offered settlement is will be paid to the creditor and your credit score will begin to increase!
It is your job as the consumer to do your home work. Understand the process before you assume and make accusations.
The process DOES WORK!!! only if you let the ones that know what they are doing do the driving. Ask the ones that have tried to settle their debt on their own and failed.
