I had to close my bank account because of CASHTODAY, and I still had one IPDL (Little Loan Shoppe) to payoff. I was supposed to mail in payments, and now I don't have the money. What will they do to me??

I don't think they'll do much to you except call you incessantly. Call them and let them know what's going on..Usually when you're upfront, these places are a lot easier to work with.

I spoke with a man there and he said that if I don't send the $ as requested, they will send it to an attorney for further collections...

You have the loan from Cash Today, right? So it is necessary that you pay back the amount borrowed. If you don't do so, they will harass you and hire attorney for collections. You don't want to go through that. Try to arrange money from someone you think will help you and pay back the company. You'll be relieved of having the settlement done at the earliest. Make sure that you do everything in writing so that there is proof of the loan been paid.

No, I have already paid CASHTODAY back the principal $200.00. The other loan is through Little Loan Shoppe...

Ok, this is good that you are done with Cash Today. Do you have in writing from the company that your loan is paid?
Try to arrange some money so that you can pay off Little Loan Shoppe quickly.

No, I still haven't recieved anything from them since I sent the settlement template letter on 11/08. How can I get that from them??

Make Cash Today aware that you now know your rights and they are doing the business illegally in your state. You have paid them the borrowed amount and they should return you with a zero balance letter. Give your letter utmost legal importance so that they send something in your mail. Remember, you have to keep pushing them otherwise they might sell the balance to someone else who will attempt collections on you later. You should have a proof from the company that the debt is over.
