Hi All,

Thanks to all of the great advice I got on this website, I was able to get one of my loans marked PAID IN FULL today.

I sent the form letter from Polly's blog and got this in response from Smart Choice Cash:

Corinn, you have done a great job. Congrats! I hope that you get the same results from other companies as well.

MTE financial is not going to be an easy one because there are so many complaints against them. Browse through the forums here and you will read many posts on them. Maybe, you will find a better way in dealing with them.

MTE has just agreed to mark my Ten Dollar Payday Loan account "Paid in full" as soon as they receive a copy of my money order paying them the last $75 I paid to ACA Recovery. They are willing I believe if you request it.

Fedup ~ we are still hanging in there! Have not heard from any of the pdl's except Route66, which of course is their payment reminder. My office had a call from a Joseph, STeven, and Associates, but they would not say who they were calling about other than it was was a financial investigation, so I have assumed they were calling about me since 3Midland said my account was going straight to collections. Still working on the house situation. Still don't know what is going to happen there, but have just been praying and trying to see how our finances are going to go. Trying to stay positive, but it has been hard to do. Plus next paycheck for me is going to be short due to leaving work early yesterday due to being sick and am leaving early today (still sick) for a drs appointment. Did get another bank account open, but have to get everything cleared up with the first bank before I can close out that account. Husband has managed to get his Direct Deposit to that account stopped, but we are letting mine go through the next couple of paydays so we can clear the account. But for the most part, ok. Congrats to the op. You are starting the process of getting rid of the loansharks.Frame where you can view it everyday to remind yourself of how bad it was and how good it will be in the near future.
