i got a letter in the mail saying i won some lottery money,well it said i was suppose to deposit it into my bank account.i did that and the lady at the bank said wait 10 days so i did and i got online to my online checking,it said that the check had cleared.right away i wrote checks and sent them off to pay off the bills for that month.then the bank said there was still a hold on the money and that they would do a fresh start plan with me and cover the checks i had wrote which they didnt.then i spoke with the lady at the bank she said go to the banks atm instead of online checking the following friday i did just that and the money was available.me and my kids went shopping,that monday i was called by the bank saying that that check didnt clear and they dont know why the atm made the mistake but now i either pay the money back or go to jail.i am a single mother of 3 and 1 on the way noone will hire me the doctor wont release me to go to work.i dont get child support of any kind so if anyone knows what i can do plz let me know

Find all proof to prove the negligence of the bank. This will help you in resolving the dispute with the help of an attorney.

I'm so sorry..I think you have been taken by a scam.
First of all, take a deep breath. Go into the bank and explain what happened. Make a payment arrangement, they will work with you. No one wants you to go to jail.
Please also report this scam to the police.
