I work for a debt settlement company. I have a friend that I thought I could help but he does not qualify for our program. He has at least 10-12 accounts in collections and they are all small balances under $700. These are all in collections and his credit score is too low for a personal loan. Is there somebody out there that can help him? If there is please email me the name and number so I can forward the information to him. Thanks, Travis

Does he have a computer? If not maybe he could join up from a library computer, or even let him get on yours.
I would also suggest a consultation through DCC.
Could he call all the companies and set up payment plans? Figure out which ones are the oldest and start paying on those.

Follow Kash's advice. By joining here he is entitled to a free debt consultation. I would also encourage him to pull his credit report if he hasn't already so that will give him an idea on what is being reported.
