Are in debt or debt free?

I am in debt. If your debt free what is your trick or how do you save?

it is so hard to save esp. when you go to paycheck to paycheck and need things for your family to survive. How do you live day to day?

Thanks.

It is amazing how creative you become when living pay to pay. I have done flea markets and auctions, sold on ebay and used my points from this site as extra money to pay bills. My wife is a great coupon clipper and we always take advantage of sales.

domain -

I'm probably going to get called out for doing this, but can I ask why you keep posting repeatedly, the same question, in different forms, over and over, to the various forums on our site? Is it only to gain points? Perhaps you're the same person (or a relative of them) that is posting over on the am/pm insurance site, knowing that you can gain $$ by posting this way?

If I'm wrong, I sincerely apologize, but it sure seems that way to me.

Hi Domain. I'm not sure of the motive, but I will tell you that I live from paycheck to paycheck as well. I too have done flea markets and auctions. I have also checked into selling old gold. I really don't have alot, but if you have a fair amount then you can get good extra money. I have also pared down my grocery list to only nutritious foods (no snack cakes, etc,). Not only do I cut out extra calories, but extra bucks, too. I didn't know how expensive they were until I started to do without them (and trust me, I'm eating just fine!!!) I do still indulge in sodas (diet coke) but I make sure to stock up at the supermarket when they are on sale and I don't buy them at work. They are much less expensive at the grocery store. Also, I lowered my monthy cell phone bill by taking the lowest plan they have. It takes discipline but I'm determined. I hope this give you some ideas. Good luck.

Have a giant garage sale and sell everything you can live without. Not only will you be surprised by how much money you make, your attitude will change about replacing it. Once it's gone, you find yourself thinking "Why would I buy that? I just got rid of crap just like it?" Finding out you pay good money for stuff that's really only worth $1 at a garage sale changes how you think about buying it at all.

Oh my. Confused

I guess anyone who owes anything is technically in debt. So...while I currently have no financial problems, I do have a mortgage, 2 car loans, utilities, and a credit card. So I'm in debt.

Clipping coupons is a great way to save money. It's also a good idea to look at your weekly expenses and shave pennies off that way..For instance brew coffee at home and take it in a thermos instead of stopping for a cappucino at the gas station. Eat at home instead of in restaurants. These are only a couple of examples. Good luck.

Sorry, have to agree with the others. First of all, user name "domains4sale"? Okay. Second, how many times is "domains4sale" going to post the same thing in the various forums? I, too, apologize if I'm incorrect or assuming the wrong thing, but it just seems odd to me.
