What do you mean by "you are not seeing progress"? Are they not paying your creditors as they are supposed to? Elaborate a bit more please.

Also, did you look them up on the BBB to check for complaints, etc?

have you tried changing the due date on your cards or change the day you pay Care One?

I closed my careone account after I learned most of these places were owned by credit card bussinesses. Is there any sample letters on how to contact the credit card places yourself?

did you have a talk with care one about this. you should immediately contact Care One with a receipt from the collection agency that they are not getting paid back on time. ask them what is causing this delay. there may be many factors for this and you need to clear this out before you start getting with more late fees.

I contacted Care One, a few months ago. Saw an ad, on TV, about them. Just wanted some info on them. I explained the sitaution, of the debt, that I have. FIRST...they said, "I don't have enough debt for them to deal with,"...and SECOND..." if they DID help me, there would be a fee to use their services." GOD!! Seems like all of these places, who SAY they will help you, want an 'arm and a leg' before they do.

What a rip-off this is ! I was rarely late on my cc bills and never received an over limit fee. When I signed up for CESi I not only received late fees but also overlimit fees...........CESi kept telling me to wait it our for three months in order to see any progress........in the two months i was on the program they COST me over 500.00 in late fees and overages !!!!

I posted a message recently about entering careone for debt consolidation. We owe approximately $25,000. They told me that I could pay off my bills in 4 yrs with a reduced rate for approximately $45.00 a month. We are current on all our bills, but am just making it. Please advise. Have read articles on who to contact. Will call our state AG on Monday.
Thanks

I spoke with a careone rep todaay and discussed my debt. I have never been late, but want to consolidate to lower rate and save a little money. I owe about $14,000 total and they it my payment would be around $330 a month. After reading some of the complaints, should i even deal with them or keep making my same payment?
