Mann Bracken is currently sueing me for $1500. Upon calling the office, I was put on hold and never able to reach a human being - leaving a message several times. I had 20 days to respond to the summons and of course waited til' about the last minute. I finally reached someone, after being transferred a dozen or so times. I was informed that about $250 had been added to my debt for court costs, etc. After speaking to the lady, whose job title I am unaware of, they settled my debt for around $1100. Could have been better, but definately could have been worse. I'm still apprehensive about paying that amount of money to someone I don't completely trust, but I really have no choice. good luck to all when settling their debt.

I have tried calling several times and I keep getting the same message: "This number has been temporarily disconnected". I'm also worried.

i can't get throught either. I would stop your automatic payment and see if they call you which I doubt since none of us can get through. I'm calling my creditor that hired them to resolve through them. Thank God I have reciepts of my payments.

I paid off a Capital One account in June of 2008. Mann Bracken has gone out of business and have sold my account to another collection agency who is trying to collect again! I have all the documents to prove the account was settled in full but they did not tell Capital One.
I am working with Debt Regret and they are a huge!!! help. Has any one else had there paid accounts refered to another collector?

Yes, Mann Bracken LLC can sue. They did me and then tried to garnish my state income tax return money that I pay on my property taxes. The judge reviewed all my information packet regarding my extreme hardship being on SSD and lifted the garnishment against me. I must say that the attorney that was there was very nice. I am very concerned at the moment because I am trying to send a payment and do not have an envelpe because they did not cash my last months check to send me a receipt with another envelope to pay the bill the next month. I have tried several numbers that I had on them and they are all unavailable or unable to send as dialed. When I look online at their website, I get this Go Daddy page so HOW DO YOU CONTACT THEM ONLINE????!!! Something does not smell good here. They have an office here in Novi, Michigan or at least they did. They ARE an attorney firm so where are they lodged at now??

Ther'ye Done! All debts they were collecting that were settled and paid (due to them not repoarting they were settled and paid to the companies that hired them) and all outstansding debts have been transferred to other collection agencies... They must have squandered the money they were collecting. For those that had settlements and made payments, hope you kept copies and records. We have been dooped! Thanks a lot MB, you should all go to PRISON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

meant GFY and it didn't mean 'good for you!!' I've just did all my girlfriend's debt to them on Excel and they seem to be in cahoots with Capitol One- over 750 bucks worth of charges on a credit line of 450 - what part of that doesn't say W.R.O.N.G??

We can not contact Mann Bracken to find our balance. We have been paying them since 6-15-07. We have never gotten a balance sent to us, payments recieved or any correspondence what so ever. The number we have for the Atlanta office and it is not in service. Is there a way to get ahold of these losers??????? If someone else has taken over the debts how do we contact them?

I let a collection go for a motorcyle loan (credit card type) and ignored all the letters and calls I got from Mann Bracken LLC, since then they took me to court, won, and garnished my wages for the full amount. that was since paid off about 6 months ago, how do I go about getting the pink slip for the motorcycle, now that it is officially paid off??

I would not pay them a dime. See i used to work there and they were nothing but a bunch of a** holes to work with but at the same time i have dealt with debtors who said the same thing they made a payment but the balance would not ever go down because the so called lawyer were pocketing the money and not applying the $$$ to the balance of the account. I wish you all luck and iam thankful not to work there anymore. Karma got them back
