I recieved a very strange call today from a woman claiming to be from the Arizona AG's office. She stated that US Fast cash had marked my account as paid in full. But than she told me that there is no intrest cap in Arizona. And that I shouldnt expect their help with these loans. I know for a fact that their are laws on pay day loans in Arizona and there is an intrest cap on them. What do you guys think? Plus the tele number came up with only 4 digits?????

If there was no interest cap, why would the company mark it paid in full, and why would the Attorney General's Office call? Sounds like the payday loan company made the phone call. We all know of the interest rate caps.

I would contact the AGs office, I don't believe Govt. agencies work in this manner. They would send you something in writing, ie: even a generic form letter acknowledging recept of your complaint with contact info. for further questions. Did you file complaints? If you did then I suspect that this was a pdl rep., and if it was, it is a crime to misrepresent yourself as a government official. I would notify the AGs office.

That just ticks me off that these pdls have the nerve to even do something like that, but I'm not surprised by their stupidity.

I did get letters from them. But the strange thing is I didnt get any phone call on the other complaints

I don't believe it was the AG's Office. To bad the number didn't show up on caller ID. I would call the AG's Office 1st thing in the morning and let them know about your phone call. US Fast Cash just might be in more trouble than they already are!!

Why would the PDL call, tell you your account was paid in full and then say there was no interest cap? Why would the PDL help their competition? That does not sound reasonable. Did you take down the name of the woman who called you? You could and should contact the attorney general's office and verify what information you were given.

Just be sure you have receipts. And, don't ever do that sort of business again. Be done with them and payday loans.

Welcome when the AG calls you it will show a valid number. In my state it shows government number. I think it was someone from PDL company. KYSIDE38

So the AG's office did say they must be liscened in the state of Arizona to do buisness here but that I was lucky because they dont have much luck with the payday loan compaines.
