MTE Financial Debits

alisa, is this the only name on your debits? You took one pdl out & this is the only one debiting your account right? If that is the case, PayDay USA is obviously another d/b/a of MTE Financial. I have a huge list going of MTE's d/b/a's. However, I don't have this one listed. But it doesn't surprise me. They have many, many d/b/a's. Tell me if this is the only "company" debiting your account. Because, if it is, then it's MTE. And, in that case, they are totally 100% illegal. They are not licensed/legal in any state in the United States. How much did you borrow from them (principle only) and how much have they debited total so far? Also, just for my information, tell me what state you reside in. These guys are ruthless. You are more than likely going to have to close your bank account. Please post the information I requested and we can better help you. I'm thinking it's our dreaded illegal MTE Financial using another d/b/a.

PostPosted: Mon Sep 10, 2007 12:27 pm Subject: MTE Financial has left no contact for us

My husband and I did a PDL and now on our bank statement we are getting withdrawals from our account. The problem is we are ready to pay them off and they never sent him anything via e-mail like they said they would. I need to find out how to get in contact with them. The numbers that have been posted did not work. I am very stressed about this and need to know if my husband and I should speak with the bank and just pay to have anything from them stopped.

Any advice would be appreciated. I am soo sorry for all those going through this. Had I known this was what we were getting ourselves into I would never have done this.

Sherri,

Here is the contact info for MTE

MTE Financial Services
515 G SE
Miami, OK 74355

email: compliancedepartment(at)mtefs.com

Don't be scared, they are operating illegally, send them a letter revoking their authorization to debit your account and revoking any wage assignments you may have signed. What was the original amount of the loan and what have you paid already? You should think about closing your bank account also, so they are unable to keep debiting your account.

This includes their telephone number. The above is a good email address. Beware of them. Horrible illegal pdl. If you're up for talking to them, call them and tell them you want to pay (they just want your money). If you're not up for calling, send them an email. But if you're ready to pay them, I'd call. They'll love you. Beware of them though. Do not let them tell you that you owe more than you do. Which is what they normally do. Please let us know how it turns out!

I just called this # this afternoon 800-325-8208; {Renee @ ext. 4312 and she was Evil or Very Mad} Renee was unwilling to work out pymt arrangements for future dates. She insisted on getting $90 today. she did that old 'script' of not letting me finish my statment or question & resorted to bullying tactics without provocation. I CALLED HER to make arrangments so i didn't understand the attitude...but anywhoooo...so now i'm wondering if their hook up is legit.

ms v, honey, they are beyond illegal. Do not waste your time trying to speak with them via telephone. Do it all via email. And they will argue with you via email, also. Beyond illegal......

monica, what mte loan do you have? They use many different names. Is it one click cash, quickest cash advance, us fast cash..... anything of that sort? After telling me what d/b/a they are using, tell me how much you have borrowed from them and how much you have paid back (if anything). I also need to know what state you reside in. We can help you.

monica, did they hit your account? quickest-cash-advance is MTE. I have dealt with them. You borrowed $300, so I'm going to assume they want $90.00. Am I correct? Did they debit your account for $90.00?

No, I'm not telling you that. I'm glad you and your husband were reading on here. Just make sure (ask him if you have to) that when your husband closed the bank account, the bank account will not be "forced" back open because these idiots tried to debit your account, okay? So you need to check on this to make sure the account is still closed and nothing "forced" it open. In the meantime, if your husband is just waiting for them to contact you, they are going to add unbelievable amounts of money in fees and stuff (which are illegal). So when and if they do contact you, they're going to ask for a whole lot more money than the $300. A lot more. If you "ignore" them, they might turn you over to collections (which would also be illegal). Now, this is not a legal company you're dealing with. However, they will do all these things. Can you do this? Can either you or your husband go on line and file complaints against this company? You can file with the Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org). This illegal company will usually respond to the BBB. You can file with the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov). And you can file with your state Attorney General. Just do a google search on California state attorney general and the site should come up. You need to file complaints on this company. This way the agencies will know what's going on and also may be able to help you out. You let me know about the bank account (make sure it is still closed and MTE did not get their money). And see about filing complaints on MTE. Okay? If you need one, I can get a letter to you to send to MTE telling them to not debit your account, not call you, etc. However, they do not abide by it. It's mainly just for your documenation to show that you told them not to debit your account, not to contact you via telephone, etc. Like I said, they are ilegal, so they do what they want anyway. Please post back if you have any questions. But find out about the bank account and let me know. I just want to be sure your account is still closed and MTE didn't force it open? Okay? And if you need help filing complaints, just post. Very Happy
