lester, we did not take any money from your account. You obviously have a loan with one of MTE's companies. If you would like, you can post the information and we can help you. However, please note that we are not MTE. If you need their contact information, it is posted above.

I also have an pdl with MTE. I had four payments of $90 debited and then they wanted me to pay another $390 for a $300 loan. I had no choice but to close my account and I recommend others do the same thing. I dealt with Renee when I called and she has no idea how unethical and illegal these practices are.

rpiman03, what's sad is that they don't care. I'm glad you got your account closed. They would continue to debit you forever. Awful.

cowgirl, it'll be okay! I'm glad you're here! First of all, please know that MTE and any of their many d/b/a's will not be licensed/legal. They are not licensed to do business in any state in the US. So technically their loan is illegal. You received $300.00 from them, correct? How much have you paid so far (if anything)? Also, did they loan the money under the name MTE Financial - or did they use a different name as the pdl? While I wait for your response, I am going to post your state pld law. However, just remember, they will not be licensed/legal.

They pulled 2 payment of 90.00 so far! I owe them 300.00 but cant get ahold of anyone and they sent me nothing on line or mail. They said on line they would pull 90.00 4 times then the 5th time it'll be 90.00 plus 50.00 the 50.00 is to pay back towards the loan but i cant get no one to go ahead and pay them off. I think they just want to keep making money off me! What am i to do about this? Close my account? It'll be hard to do couse like i said i have pay checks going directly there and my son's disable check. What can i do/
