I don't suppose you have any of those Pacer files electronically, where you could email them to me do ya? I'm a geek. I get off on reading stuff that would put most people to sleep. How many of these internet pdl's are legal somewhere? I have ran into very few personally. All of the notorious ones are not. BTW, I think if you use even in quick reply it will work __________________

I'm sure the italics work. I meant that due to my own ineptitude with computers, I have no idea how to do so.
The files are on my work computer in a .pdf format. I'll click over to your home page and e-mail them to you tommorrow morning. (Assuming I can attach documents using that method. If not, we'll figure out another way.) Of course, I'll have to find an anonymous e-mail address to send them from. |

[]italic[/] if you put the letter 'i' in between the first set of brackets and the letter 'i' after the slash and in front of the last bracket, with the words in between, you will have italicized letters. Use 'b' for bold and 'u' for underline
There is a link to my email addy on my blog as well. The link for that is in my signature down there. Thanks! I appreciate it! I can send pdf's from yahoo and hotmail with ease. I won't say that I am not crazy because whenever someone says that to me, I think to myself, yeah right, they are a nut job! So you go ahead and use that anonymous email account So, I have gathered that you are a lawyer. I haven't yet determined what your position is on the PDL industry as a whole, whether it is good or bad? __________________

Sue, Roadwarrior, he/she MBLC (he/she's new acronym since Marcia Brady's Lovechile is A LOT to type) has a wealth of knowledge to share. I appreciate MBLC's presence tremendously.
I also RESPECT MBLC TREMENDOUSLY, for being willing to stand corrected when he/she was in err. That's a real man/woman for ya! We can all learn from eachother! MBLC, are you willing to sacrifice a teensy weensy bit of anonymity and share whether you are a he or a she? It just makes it easier to address people when you know there gender __________________

Oh I respect both of you tremendously. Polly I think you may have competition for internet search queen! I'm just jealous that you understand all that legal junk because I know most days I don't even begin to understand it. I know I've learned a TON from you and others on this site, I don't know what I would have done without all of you.
I like the MBLC acronym, you're right the Marcia Brady's Lovechile is A LOT to type. __________________

Sue, I do not always understand what I read. Pennsylvania law is the perfect example. That is hard reading! I am just able to find the applicable law and pass it on to others. How a person chooses to use that information is totally up to them. I get a lot of emails asking for 'advice'. I can't in good conscience advise someone to do anything. I just know what worked for me.

Don't feel too bad. I practice law in Pennsylvania and I have trouble reading it. It's especially true with the Consumer Discount Company Act, which covers payday lending. It hasn't changed much since it was first enacted nearly 100 years ago. Unfortunately, the language people use, even so-called "legalese," has changed dramatically. Reading the CDCA is like reading heiroglyphics. You're better off going to the Secretary of Banking's site and reading his interpretive letters. (Link below) Not as complete as the law, of course, but at least they're in English.
