When it comes to debt consolidation. Why is it always credit card debt. I have debt, but not credit card debt, can I consolidate debt that has been sent to a collection angency?

credit card debt seems to be the most common type of unsecured debt to consolidate.
What kind of debt are you looking to consolidate, if not credit card?
