If you do a search on this site, you will find some information and all of it is good. Also, Oak View Law's website is www.oakviewlaw.com, so also check that out. One of the attorneys who is now with the firm, Daniel Crowder, is the inventor of debt settlement. In fact, they used to call it "The Crowder Method." You can also type his name into Google, and all of this research is there.

Personally, I got myself into a lot of credit card debt through a failed business venture and poor choices. I tried to go the credit counseling route, but I was turned down by more than 3 agencies because I can pay something every month, but I cannot afford to pay the high payments they want every month. Plus, I want to pay off my debts, and not file Bankruptcy. So, I have spent the past three months doing all of the research I can on Debt Settlement, and I have talked to several debt settlement companies and law firms.

I kept going back to choosing Oak View because they were the only firm who worked on a contigency basis (they don't get paid unless they settle) and they have attorneys available to you which helps me sleep better at night. Because many creditors and collection agencies will get attorneys involved in this process, so I want one on my side as well.

I live in California, so I think that Oak View will be the perfect choice for me. They are all so nice to talk to. When you call or e-mail them, they call or e-mail you back within an hour or two, at the most. Everything about your savings account, and settlement progress is posted right on their website in your secure client area. They also had no problems talking to me and answering all my questions BEFORE I paid them anything at all.

I will be posting more on my progress here on this site. Everyone on this site has been wonderful and helpful and I really appreciate all of the information that is available here everyday.

Take care, Good Luck and God Bless You!

i didn't have such a great experience with oak view. i often did not get phone calls/e-mails returned for days, not hours.
also the fees are all there in the fine print but make sure you read it carefully. i finally closed my account with them but not before i lost close to $1000.00 and only settled one acct. for $320.00.
lame

I talked to OVLG many times and talked to several of their people. Everyone seemed friendly enough but I didn't like the fact that everything is run out state even though they are suppose to be a CA business. Plus several times I wanted to get legal advice if I should go bankrupt or try debt settlement and they always ended up referring me to a lawyer who wasn't familiar with California's laws. They originally had a CA attorney listed, but it got changed recently. Again, everyone was very friendly but couldn't give me the answers I was able to get any answers like I did from the Calif. attorneys I talked to. Plus it seems like they have made some changes high up recently and I still haven't seen more than a few people who have worked with OVLG.

Take your time and find someone you are totally comfortable with.

Do a search here on the boards and you will see other comments.

Hey!!! Remember the rules - guests are only allowed to say bad things about Denny's competitors. Be nice or he'll start whining about unity again and lock this thread or move it to the members only forum.

Hi,

I am James and I am the Operations Manager at Oak View Law Group. I will reply to all the topics raised in this thread one by one:

A. Two people have raised issues about loosing money with OVLG.

Since both these posts are anonymous I can not ascertain if these are true statements. Still I would like the community to know that OVLG guarantees
Quote:
If we fail to deliver the savings to you, we will refund whatever fees we have collected.

Please post your email address or some identifying information here in this thread so the community can ascertain if the allegations being made here are true or not. Also as per our guarantee we will return whatever extra fees we have collected over the savings we have delivered.

Also you can email me. My email address is at the end of this post.

We are a CA based law firm, but our operation center is based at Sparks, NV due to some cost advantages. We also have an office in the state of CA, please find our different offices' address on https://www.oakviewlaw.com/contact-us/index.html#address . We also have attorney from the state of CA and from other states as well, to view a list of our attorneys from different states please visit: https://www.oakviewlaw.com/attorneys/index.html

Oak View Law Group is owned by Mr Kalani and InterNext Technologies Inc. is owned by Denny. Denny has got no ownership interest in Oak View Law Group. Neither does Mr. Kalani have any ownership in InterNext Technologies Inc.

Insinuations? I've been reading some pretty direct and detailed accusations. Not insinuations.

Two qualifying factors for insinuations:
1. Accusations without proofs.
2. Made by non registered members posting as guest and other anonymous identities.
The accusations made in this thread qualify on both the above factors.
