My husband talked to the PDL people today at the storefronts since we BOTH have some out at each place, and all but one was willing to work with us as far as a payment plan goes. They all said that after the check is returned to them as unpaid, they will set up the plan. That was wonderful news today Smile

There still leaves the Check N' Go storefront who did not want to hear a word of it, but we will just pay mine off there since the others will be at a workable level. What a weight off my shoulders Smile

I jusy wanted to share my great news so other people can see there is hope Smile

Congrats and I wish you the best of luck...it's all about communication. That was one thing I learned the hard way. Then I first defaulted on my PDL's I tried to hide and avoid the phone calls, wishing and hoping they would go away. That was prior to finding this website..boy did I learn a hard lesson.

There always has to be stubborn one out there huh..

That is great news. Get them paid off and get your paid in full letters. Now you can build up a rep with a good banker and use his money next time yall get in a bind.Banker's charge interest,but not highway robbery like pdl's. Congrats on getting out from under them!!! Mr. Green

Good job! It can be very frightening when you first contemplate taking on these payday lenders, but for the most part, the ones that are legal are not too bad to deal with. Of course, there are always exceptions. You're on your way! Very Happy

Congradulations. It sure helps to have a lender that will work with you. VA. is coming under fire for these loans. The legislature is going to act and very soon. I hope at least they set an interest cap. They should outlaw them just like WV has done. Best Wishes KYSIDE38

Has checkngo presented your check and gotten it back from the bank? It has been my experience that they are more cooperative once you are in default. I had storefront loans with checkngo and defaulted, they made payment arrangements with me after they stressed me out, they will eventually, hang in there and congrats on your good news. There is a light at the end of the tunnel and "it ain't no train!"
