I just got off the phone w/Payday one, Payday OK and Payday Select concerning my refund. I was told that instead of my loan being marked paid in full, they were charged off. AND reported to teletrack. How do I fight this one?

You could always dispute it with Teletrak. Teletrak is used by other pdls and sub-prime lenders. The main one you would NOT want to be reported to is ChexSystems.

Have you filed any complaints with the AGs office, that is another way to go also if you haven't already, and if you have, file another one against each of them.

That is the same thing that AIP told me. The man said that it wasn't considered PIF b/c I really didn't pay it. That it was charged off b/c they no longer did loans in NC...

I have a copy of my teletrack coming and will be speaking with "the special handling team" w/Payday One tomorrow. Right now I am severely discouraged and think I should of not stirred up the hornets nest.

I really wouldn't worry about teletrack..And just because they said they reported it doesn't really mean that they did.

Like Steelers said, teletrak is only for sub-prime lenders..You just won't be able to get another PDL. Teletrack won't affect your check writing priveleges at all.

Ginurse, what exactly does charged off mean to them? Are they going to report you to the credit bureau? I seriously doubt that..See what happens when you talk to the next guy, don't get discouraged.

I don't want a new one I just can't pay off all of the "legal" ones at once. I ended up calling all of store front loan sharks and the 4 internet ones that I repay each month to make sure they don't check teletrack. All but 2 store fronts do not check unless it is new and same w/internet. I am more upset over being told it would be marked as paid in full and then find out it was a charge off.

Finsfan is right, there is your proof,e-mail it back to them and if you have to dispute it with Teletrak, then they should get a copy of those e-mails as your proof of PIF status.
