Someone HELP!! I have withdrawals from my account for a payday loan listed under "VC FUNDING" and i cannot figure out who this company is! I need a contact number for them if anyone can help I would greatly appreciate it!

I did try to call them and they said they do not have a loan for me and that the debit would not appear as VC FUNDING. when i said thats who is withdrawling she said oh that isn't us... ??? do you know of another company this may be operating under?

I am surprised. Go to your bank and inform them about the response given by the company if they are the ones debiting from your account. In any case, you should temporarily get the company blocked so that no money is withdrawn further. Later, the lender will call you after they won't get money from your account. Then you can move from there.

As per the previous posts about this situation, send a letter via certified mail/return receipt requested to the above and advise them that you want the acct. marked "paid in full" because you have been made aware that they are not licensed in Indiana, and they have charged an illegal interest rate/finance charges for this loan according to Indiana payday lending laws. The maximum allowable charge is $35, and all fees and related charges are subject to this limitation. Advise that you are filing complaints with the Nevada BBB, the Indiana Attorney General and the Indiana Dept. of Finance.

the number you have listed as 800-853-7221 is a fax number everytime I try to call it... I want to be able to contact the company first and make sure it is the right company who has a loan for me. I called this number: 1-800-859-6439 and they said they do not have a loan for me nor do they deduct under "VC Funding"....

(800) 859-6439 ext. 234 is definitely for VC Funding, I don't care what they say. I have a defaulted loan with VC Funding and this is the number I have used to contact someone to make arrangements. If you have the date the loan was taken out and give the name of the person who took out the loan, last four digits of SSN, etc., they should be able to pull the details up in the system.

This sounds like the same company. I called 800-859-6439 because of excessive debits out of my account. They listed the debits as "Westbury - Collections". When I asked what the name of their company was - they said "Westbury Insurance", and the lady on the line was very unprofessional, however there is not a website under that name. Does anyone know what the NC payday lending laws are? Is there a way to get monies returned to your bank account? Mad

Also, has anyone heard of a company called ICS (International Cash Services)?

Pdls are prohibited in your state. You need to close this account and open a new one or they will bleed you dry. File complaints with your AGs office immediately. ICS is a wicked company to deal with. VC Funding will back off once they receive notice you have complained to your AGs office. CLOSE THAT ACCOUNT.

Thanks for that info! I'll get right on it. ICS will not even allow you to set a date for them to take out the entire loan amount. Then when I call, I end up having to call several different numbers because they claim they cannot see my account.

We offer arrangements and HELP to ANYONE who contacts us and is wanting to settle the debt. Our company phone number is 866-281-9011 please ask for Liz or Cassandra. The other VC company goes under the following names: Westbury Ventures, The Loan Shop, VC Funding and their number is 800-853-7221. You can also have the bank provide a number to the company the processed the debit or at the minimum to the bank in which the transaction came from and that bank can then refer you to the company.

My name is Cassandra and I am the General Manager at a payday loan customer service center. All we request to assist you is that you CONTACT us and we are more than willing to work with you. You can contact your bank to receive a phone number to a company debiting your account that is attached to the transaction. If the direct number is not provided, at the very minimum you will be able to acquire the number to the bank that submitted the transaction and they can forward you on with the appropriate company phone number. It is important to keep documents, printed out, from when you apply.

FYI-- there are multiple VC Funding companies.
Another VC Funding number is 866-281-9011. Just ask for the company manager.

VC Funding is associated with Arrowhead Investments. I don't know their phone number, but you can search under arrowheadinvestments.com on your search engine. I hope this helps!! Smile
