Practical Debt Solutions... is it real??? or is it too good to be true

Hey everyone, i just learned about a company called "Practical debt solutions" which is based in Ft Lauderdale, FL. They claim to reduce your debt by up to 60%.
What are the advantages and disadvantages to these debt consolidation programs??

Practical debt solutions has a B- rating with BBB. I haven't heard till date that a debt consolidation company claiming to have reduced 60% of debt. I'm a bit skeptical regarding this.

Generally, debt settlement programs reduce 40% to 60% of your debt. Please research more to find out the truth.

There is half truth is that. It all depends on who your creditors are. If you had 100% of say Bank of America in their program, with their fees they could reduce the entire amount anywhere between 70-80%. Typically the case is clients will have more than one creditor and type of unsecured debt which means you'll have individual settlements across the board. The cumulative settlement is what these companies mean when they say they will reduce your debt by 40-50%. I am currently enrolled with practical debt solutions and I can honeslty say they have delieverd on everything they promised. I was once with another company who seemingly just stole my money, so I was a bit more cautious this time around. I have some grave concerns regarding this company. My husband and I have been paying into this company for nearly a year. We signed all of our credit accounts over to them and even let our car be reposessed upon their advise. To date,ZERO (0) accounts have been settled despite us now having over $450.00/mo paid to them. My husbands wages have been garnished for one account and I came home tonight to find a summons on my door. I have not seen where PDS or DNSPA or what ever they want to be called has helped us at all I will be calling our attorney Monday to start bankruptcy procedings, if it is not too late.
