Hello to all,
I was wondering what everyones points of debt cc as a debt settlement company?
I talked to them on the phone and they seem nice and have a more reasonable payment plan than another debt place I was thinking about.
Looked them up at bbb.org but couldn't find anything. Any advice or people that have used them let me know. Thanks to all.

We are actually not a Debt Collection company, but a community of people helping each other with debt issues. We do offer a free consultation with a debt counselor which is what I am assuming you were referring to?
Feel free to check us out and do research on the different companies that our members have used.

I called the 800 number on the side bar there and talked with somebody who I thought was going to do a debt settlement. Am I wrong? When I talked to this person what does he actually do?

Xray, this web site is hosted by debt consolidation care, you spoke to one of the counselors, they assist in reviewing your existing debts and working to setup a payment plan with you and your creditors which may include lowering interest, stopping late fee's and getting the creditor to accept a lower monthly payment amount. The program is setup for 3 - 5 years to pay off all your debt. I don't believe they do debt settlement, but they do host this forum, so all members can discuss the different options. You might need to research different companies if you are looking to do debt settlement, but this can also be done yourself as I am doing. There is a wealth of information from members on this forum on both types of options and lots of DS companies are discussed in the forums both good and bad. Hi Xray

debt consolidation Care does not provide debt management or debt settlement programs. DebtCC has a ranking chart in which different companies are listed to offer free counseling to the consumers. Which state are you in? I can PM you the name of the company that's referred in your area. Or, please check for the email from Debt Consolidation Care for the name of the company referred in your area.
