when a listing is on that is past 7yr can it be removed by writing a letter

You should be able to dispute this with each of the credit reporting companies if it is past the SOL date they will have to remove this.

Usually a charge off stays on your report for 7 years and a bankruptcy for ten years. A negative listing that is accurate can only be removed with the passage of time. This is what I know.....is there some other options to remove negative listings that are accurate? Someone correct me if Im wrong.
